Very clean and presentable room
Full of bugs, bed too small, pillow’s uncomfortable, shower screen leaked, annoying door key in lock box set up, desperately in need of external modernisation…

Very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Tasteful decor. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Superb location. Codes for doors made arrival and departure a doddle. Much preferred having breakfast trays left in the room rather than sit down breakfast although you could use the dining room if wanted. Bonus to have a garden up sit in.
I really can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

It is well located, immaculately clean and has parking. It is very close to the sea. Though rooms only, a breakfast tray is provided daily. It is not suitable for those who have mobility issues or for children but ideal for adults as a centre to explore the beautiful area. I have short stays there regularly.
The only thing I have thought about is how you might call for help if you had a problem that meant you could not get to your mobile phone? There is very little interaction with other guests or staff.

Room was very nice and comfortable.
We felt that for the price a proper cooked breakfast should have been offered also the complimentary breakfast was very
limited, only offering sweet high calorie food and carton porridge which was awful. We were given porridge even after
saying that we did not like it. Cereal and yogurt would have been acceptible.

Lovely rooms, very clean and comfortable, really modern. Loved the little extras left for breakfast.
The outside needs some work, so not a great view from window as very old. Also sound proofing lacking between floors. Person below us at 2am chatting, we could hear everything, including his snoring later through the night. Appreciate hotel can’t help guest noise. But as old building lacks as we say sound proofing. If quiet neighbours be perfect.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location near beaches, good local pub and fish and chip shop. good parking, easy drive to Cardigan etc. Immaculately clean rooms and bathroom, comfortable beds.
Draughty sash windows ( in really stormy weather) need replacing, not the best sound insulation between rooms, no blackout material on curtains.

Very easy to find and there was plenty of free parking. Great location close to the beach, pub and chip shop(all highly recommended!) The room was spacious, warm and really clean with a huge window overlooking the sea. The bed was very comfortable. We'd booked room only so the breakfast tray was a lovely unexpected extra.
The tone of the texts and emails sent before arrival were full of warnings about not arriving early, extra charges and guests being liable for any criminal damage during their stay. There were more warning notes in the room. It felt very unwelcoming which was in stark contrast to the warm, cosy room, the breakfast tray and other thoughtful touches. I even Googled Aberporth to see if it's a hotbed of crime (it isn't!). I guess they've had a bad experience with guests in the past, but most of us know that we can drink the tea but not steal the mugs :-)

Clean and comfortable throughout and a well fitted room.
Lack of served breakfast.
The food items left in the room were OK, but to my taste, they were generally too sweet. A more savoury option, possibly bread and cheese, would have been nice.

position is good for my purposes .. newly fitted shower room and clean etc
no access to a cooked breakfast/no working batteries in remote, tv standby flashed all night and rooms above flooring creaked excessively..

Good location, comfortable rooms and bed. Nice cooked breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Good heating for cool autumn nights.
Stairs and fire door upto bedrooms can be a bit awkward to manage with bags and cases.
