Whilst this property appeared to be in the middle of nowhere it had everything you could want for a short stay. It was beautifully decorated exceptionally clean had a well appointed kitchen and was in a very peaceful location to spend the night.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

Near to Joshua Tree National Park entrance. Short distance from 29 Palms. Drivable in 5 minutes. Availability of several grocery stores, petrol and eateries.
The home is well furnished and has a well equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms, but only one bathroom which can only be accessed via one bedroom. This would be awkward if travelling as 2 couples as the second couple would have to travel through the others bedroom for the bathroom.
Peaceful and relaxing. Milky Way spectacular in the evening with shooting stars.
Large outside patio / eating area with gas barbecue.
Patricia the guest service contact was quick to respond to any problems or enquiries.
Would stay again.
Sofa needs upholstery cleaning as many stains and dirt on fabric.

Super schönes Haus in perfekter Lage oberhalb von 29 Palms. Keine 5 Minuten zum Eingang des Joshua Tree NP. Moderne Einrichtung, tolle Außenanlagen, sehr bequeme Betten und nicht zuletzt sehr netter und fürsorglicher Kontakt mit der Vermieterin. Danke für alles!

Great location away from it all yet very comfortable and close to the national park entry. Well furnished and equipped, great porch for stargazing, good communication with the host.

The location is perfect and provides some seclusion. The home was updated and very nice.
I would prefer white towels for cleanliness and freshness. I would definitely recommend this stay to others.

All the comforts of home. Decor out of a magazine-welcoming and cozy. Loved that at night we were surrounded by mountains, shooting stars, secluded and quiet, and occasional coyote music. Close to entrance of Joshua Tree. We appreciated the thoroughness and updates relating to property. Close to good restaurants.

I booked the house because of it's remote location (close to the entrance of the park) and therefore we were pretty happy with the silence up there and the view down to 29Palms....
The cleanness of the house and the beautiful furnishing, reflected the very friendly and supportive host.

the bathroom is off the main bedroom - and this is NOT highlighted in the information. this means someone in the second bedroom has to come into the main bedroom to use it.

The location was exceptional for Joshua Tree National Park. The accommodation was so well appointed with high quality decor and facilities. The communication with the host was excellent and the place was well stocked with information about the national park and other points of interest.

Beautiful desert home, comfortable, well-decorated, well-equipped and sparkling clean. Extremely good location just outside Joshua Tree NP. My husband even went jogging in the park from the property, how cool is that.
We loved the view from the terrace, we loved watching the stars outside, we loved the firepit, we loved everything.
As strange as it may seem, and I apologize to the host because I'm gonna sound rude while she was extremely kind all the way, I would have appreciated receiving less emails or texts from the host (I counted at least 10 emails and 6 texts). It feels like the whole week before our check-in date was spent reading pages and pages of rules, advice, details or answering requests from this property.

It was in a secluded private area. It was close to one of the Joshua Tree National Park entrances. It was in close proximity of eateries and other establishments.
I wish it had a washer and dryer and an additional half bathroom.

Location was great - just outside the National Park. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Views were fantastic. Host was very communicative and ready to help if anything was needed, which it wasn't! Would definitely stay there again if we come back to the area.

Location was excellent and only a few miles from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park..Great views of the mountains and valley below. Beds were very comfortable and the house layout open and spacious and supplied with everything we needed. Our host Patricia was very responsive and helpful. There was nothing not to like about Roadrunner's Roost. We would absolutely stay there again.

I was there to take pictures of the night sky and the location is perfect. The combination of dark skies, solitude and.modern comforts made it very easy for me to capture great pictures.

Everything, we liked everything. The house is exceptionally comfortable, has everything needed to relax, prepare meals, and explore the desert.
I can’t think of anything we disliked, in fact, we felt at home & really hated leaving.

The location is incredible. The desert view is lovely! It's so serene and still which is a refreshing change of pace. A great place to unwind and declutter your mind. The interior is also very well done. A very cozy desert getaway! And we could see the milky way at night which was so special.
That we only stayed two nights. I wasn't ready to leave!

One of the best vacation homes we've stayed in. Proximity to Joshua Tree NP could not have been better, we easily made it to the Cholla Cactus Garden for sunrise. The space is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed hanging out in the living area during the heat of the day. Kitchen, bathroom (much nicer shower than I have at home!), and beds were all great and we liked the stargazing/fire pit area outside. Host was very easy to communicate with. Two nights here were not enough!
The only bathroom in the house must be accessed by entering through the master bedroom. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.

Beautiful and extremely clean property in an ideal location to visit Joshua Tree National Park. We liked the fact that the property felt isolated yet had access to restaurants and groceries within a 15 minute drive. The property owner was great at communicating about our upcoming stay and was very responsive whenever we had requests or questions. Overall, this was a wonderful stay at a great location.

The picture shows two bunkbeds but there is only one bed in the second room. Still very comfy!

Incredible location and view from the patio. House was well equipped, modern appliances and kitchen utensils. House has central air which is not noisy. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends.
