The place was really clean and tidy we were able to get right into the property without any drama and settled in 100% quicker than any hotels in the area and a brilliant distance to the stadium for seeing our gig we travelled to see. Beds were comfortable rooms were full of plenty storage space. I would 100% stay again.

We didn't like it at all, the old beds, the mattresses were very dirty, the carpets were too dirty, there were no cups for breakfast.

Easy to get into the property

It wasn't particularly clean or comfortable - sofas were very tired, beds very creaky and carpets stained. Our main concern was an infestation of ants. We arrived late and noticed the ants, so we got rid of the food left in the kitchen and tried to get rid of as many ants as possible, but we couldn't use the kitchen to prepare food. The next morning, the kitchen was covered again, so I let the owner know about the issue and that we would be out for the day. He told us cleaners would come to sort the issue. When we got back to the property that evening, no cleaning had been done, but ant killer had been poured all over the kitchen surfaces and floor - meaning we again could not use the kitchen. I had to find alternative accommodation for my 3-year-old and husband as my daughter so that my daughter was safe (she is immuno-compromised due to chemotherapy). Requested a partial refund for this, but the owner refused and would not respond to messages. I know ants can occur anywhere, which is why we tried to sort it, and we gave the owner the opportunity for it to be resolved, but minimum effort was made to make it better for us. Also, the ant killer was placed in specific areas, so I'm guessing this wasn't a new issue.

The property is in a good location and served it purpose of somewhere to get your head down

The property is very dated and needs a makeover all furniture especially bedroom furniture is all mismatch & stained It needs a extensive clean paying more attention to woodwork , windows , and kitchen , bathroom I found myself cleaning before using things I would expect it to be much nicer for money paid

Size of the rooms. the warm water. beds. the owner response was fine. he even came in the night to fix toilet blockage.

overall maintenance was vwry poor. Many objects not in good condition like, cupboards, tables, chairs, extra bed, drying rack. the door lock. cooker, microwave with no markings. The Garden was a mere space which was not very inviting for kids to play. The floor made a lot of noise waking up others from sleep. Not suitable for a stay if you dont have a car as the grocerries were about 1 km away and the nearest underground is abot 2 km away. So we paid uber much more than we anticipated diring pir stay. And ofcourse having only one bathroom caused some challenges.

Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. It's a surprisingly quiet area too, we barely heard any traffic and had a great night's sleep. Would stay again if we are in the area. There is a lovely sofa area with a big tv, a nice dining area and well equipped kitchen. We didn't use the oven or microwave provided but it was nice that they were there. The host is friendly and quick to respond, and communication was easy.

The house is a little bit run down in places but that didn't affect use of the property. No soap in the bathroom (that we could find) but luckily I had brought my own. The garden had some refuse in it at the back, but again it didn't affect our stay, and it was nice to watch the visiting wild birds in the morning.
