Very clean, close to village

Very hot in the evening, couldn’t open doors for fresh air due to Miskitos.

Large. Perfect location for doing day hikes all around the island. Easy parking. Responsive and helpful hosts. The apartment looks over a football field and it’s fun watching mini-Cristianos impress with their ball skills.

We could hear other people in the building, but it didn’t bother us that much.

A spacious and comfortable apartment that has everything you need for a pleasant stay for a (larger) family and also allows some privacy if it is rented by, for example, two or three couples or a group of friends. Many balconies, an elevator and a parking space in the garage are an added value. If you are ready to cook something yourself, you have a well-equipped kitchen, there is a large grocery store nearby, and you have a large selection of fruits and vegetables at the nearby farmer's market. However, if you prefer to eat out, there are several restaurants within walking distance. The goal of our visit was to explore this beautiful island, which did not disappoint. The location of the apartment provides an excellent starting point for this, as Ribeira Brava is located in the middle of the southern part of the island, which allows easy and quick access to all parts of the island. The hosts were very caring, professional and cooperative. The apartment fully met our expectations and contributed to the wonderful week we spent in Madeira. And we will be happy to come back again.

Very good spot to discover Madeira by car. The apartment is spacious enough. Four balconies. Elevator and stairs. You can have a parking space below the building in a garage. All Ribeira Brava tourist spots nearby. The kitchen had all we needed. In the bedrooms enough space for clothing. The beds were very comfortable. Would gladly stay there again.

Wi-fi only in the living room and in the nearest to it bedroom. We met a couple of cockroaches, once in our kitchen and in the garage, but this might be a common problem. After spraying we didn't see any.

The bedrooms are large , comfortable beds. Kitchen is large however it is uncomfortable to sit on the " chairs " . You'll use the dining table in the living room. Washingmachine had a few powder pods. Distance to nice beach is only 10 min on foot, 3 min to bus station. You don't need a rented car here.

The noise from our neighbor upstairs when he was drunk ( sounded like that ). Anyway only 2 times in 10 days. The noise from the motorcycles when they come through the tunnel, a real nuisance not just in Madeira , police should control. There is 3 balconies but it is due to the noise not possible to use them. The 2 nd bathroom - smelling a little because the fan was not working, PLEASE repair

Great apartment for a family or group of friends. Layout - 3 bedrooms - each with queen size bed, 2 bathrooms - each with toilet and shower bath, living room and kitchen. Most of the rooms have access to balcony. Parking spot in underground garage was included in the reservation. Host is very friendly and helpful and speaks english. Access from the airport - highway from airport through Funchal to Ribeira Brava, takes about 20-30 minutes. Apartment isn't brand new but it is very well kept. If you want to explore whole island Ribeira Brava is a great base due to its central location. It's a small and cosy town with beautiful market square. Don't forget to spend one morning just chilling in it and visit "Brava Doce" for delicious cakes and coffee and the market (just in front of Forte de Sao Bento) for fresh fruits and vegetables.
