Good breakfast options, great location, very helpful front desk staff, appreciated the below ground parking garage.

Maid service was just okay. The second room of our suite never got cleaned the entire time we were there; not enough washcloths left - we had to go down for more each day we were there.

The river view is beautiful…You can walk to downtown pretty easily after crossing the busy road it is located on. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

The busy road it’s located on is a downfall and the crosswalk is not all that close to cross it. The beds were hard as a rock and the pillows were inadequate. Breakfast was probably one of the worst hotel breakfasts I’ve had.

This hotel is in the best location and was very nice.

I loved the fact it’s next to the animas river and have rooms overlooking the River . The facility was clean and breakfast was good had a lot of options.

I don’t like that they charge you to park in the garage each time you enter so if you leave for the day and come back you’re charged twice for the day.

Love the location of this hotel and we always get the same room and we love that lol... morning staff durning breakfast was so great and nice. We just love this hotel its beautiful and clean and just a great great value.

Only downfall is no hot tub but the heated pool was lovely.

I like that it was centrally located and right by the river. Front desk staff was very friendly and shared information about what to do while in town.

Breakfast was ok at best. Was not consistently refilled during breakfast hours. This was a big reason why I picked this certain hotel. I will probably look for another hotel next time I'm in the area.

I absolutely loved the view from our balcony! Also the staff & cleanliness was the very first thing I noticed when walking in! Breakfast was great also!! I loved that coffee was available all the time! I loved it all!

I didn't like that we had to come home!

I chose the Holiday Inn Express Downtown because I was flying into Durango to pick up my car, and it had a free shuttle. The shuttle driver, Priscilla, not only drove me to the hotel but stopped at the mechanic's shop along the way and waited for me to pick up my car! All of the staff seemed to have this attitude of going the extra mile. The hotel facilities were clean and top-notch, and I really enjoyed a swim in the pool overlooking the Animas River. I highly recommend a stay here!

The breakfast, gym, and the riverview balcony room were all amazing. Very friendly staff, and very clean.

If there was a crosswalk on 550 to and from the hotel, it would have made walking around town easier.

The floor was very cold to walk on due to room location over a parking garage. Was awaken in the middle of the night by the guests next door who partied well into the night. There was no one at the front desk to complain to .

Location was perfect. So many places to eat around and they had a continental breakfast
