Loved the condo and all it offers. Great location. Watched surfers all week. Condo was some what dirty when we arrived. Need to clean floors more throughly. Cabo property managers were very helpful and responsive. Loved our trip!

The apartment was very worn, and dirty. The grounds and the hallways were very clean . Infact , I would give the pool area, lobby a 5 stars for cleanliness .

We stayed for a week to attend a family wedding nearby. The condo was beautiful and perfect for our family of 5 adults. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and the surfers in the am. The pool and beach are lovely and we found the onsite staff and rental contact to be very attentive and helpful throughout the stay. We can’t wait to return!

This was an amazing stay at an amazing property! Absolutely no issues ..everything you need can be found in this gorgeous unit! Will be back!!!!!

Layout not comfortable, master bedroom was separated from the living area by a sliding door. Condo was long bedrooms behind living area. 2 bedrooms had shared bathroom. Poorly equipped and equally poor kitchen layout. Would not book again.

We rented out this particular unit and because of the recent hurricane this unit became unavailable 2 days before our travel, so the property manager placed us in another unit in the same property on the 5th floor. So this review is not for the particular penthouse but the overall property. If you love to surf, or watch surfing all day long, this is the perfect location for you. It was perfect surf for 4 of the 5 days we were there. The facility is really nice, low key and right on the beach, and well kept. The condo property manager, Kristen, was very kind as well as her right hand man who helped check in and check out. We felt safe the whole time in regards to the location and the property being locked up and guard watched- but if you want a private beach, this is not the place. Their were locals on the beach everyday, and on the weekends they party right there and the music didn't stop til about 3am, and literally started back up at 6:15am so loud it sounded like it was surround sound in the apartment. With the exception of that, it was quiet and lovely. The location to San Jose was great. I wouldn't stay there without a car, unless you're ok with taxis, but its a quick and easy 5 min. drive to anything you would need and the parking lot was easy to get in and out of. We brought our family and the condo (which is all same in size and inside regardless of the unit) was a really nice size. We would love to come back!

Stayed with 4 adults and 2 children (3 &10), location was great and beach was quiet. Condo was very clean and exactly like the pictures. Pablo and Kristen were very accommodating and responsive during the entire process! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Clean, condo had everything we needed - the basics you would expect - pool towels, shampoo, laundry w/ detergent, small kitchen appliances, and comfortable beds. Seems silly to mention but, worth the mention for the comfort it created. Pablo, on site property manager was attentive when needed and easy to get ahold of once we figured out how to call him.

Wonderful experience if you are looking for a relaxed place to stay . Location was great to watch the surfers and for taking a walk down tge beach . Rooftop pool is fantastic !

Loved our stay at this lovely spot - perfect for family of 4 or 6 though bedroom closest to road is loud and not easy for light sleeper. Relaxing rooftop, beautiful beach and pool, easy access, well equipped. We really enjoyed it!

I don't think you could actually find a condo that is closer to the water. There is something magical about listening to waves crashing on the shore. It's the sound of vacation. The condo is in a quiet area, located an easy drive to San Jose del Cabo's downtown. We enjoyed the rooftop grill and infinity edge pool and spent our days on the beach watching surfers. Condo is stylish and comfortable. Pablo was incredibly helpful and kind with checkin and arranging transportation. Our stay was magical. Thank you to the Carlsons for sharing their vacation home with us!

The condo was lovely with a beautiful view of the ocean and beach. The venues staff were very polite and helpful. The check in process was a breeze. The only thing we didn’t love were the Saturday and Sunday evening parties on the public beach next door. Quite load until late in the evening. Other than that - lovely.

Third time staying at this property and once again did not disappoint. Amazing views, perfect weather, and great hospitality by Kristen and Pablo. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful views

Gloria is amazing! Highly recommend doing the welcome lunch with margaritas! We also had her come in and cook a birthday dinner....with cake! Pablo is also very helpful and pleasant! Beds are very comfortable and nice linens. There are cozy throw blankets for the chilly evening breeze! Italian dinner at Fiorenza's was the BEST. Need reservations. Sunset dinner cruise was great fun as was doing an ATV ride on the beach. Kristen was very responsive with any questions!

We stayed here with another couple celebrating our 35th anniversary’s. What a wonderful place. We so enjoyed the morning sunrises, watching the surfers, walking the amazing beach and afternoon soaks in the upper pool. The condo is in a great location right on the beach. Kristen was very helpful in booking tours. We had the Welcome Package waiting for us when we arrived, which was great. We also has Gloria cook us dinner one night which was also fantastic. Would definitely recommend Gloria. What a sweet lady! Frederico was very helpful when it came to any small issues which we encountered at the condo. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo and my husband and I hope we can come back again soon!

Casa Carlson was the perfect spot for our family of four over Thanksgiving break. Kristen and the CPM team were great hosts, easy to reach and happy to accommodate all they could. We enjoyed having Gloria greet us upon arrival with welcome margaritas and quesadillas and later in the week for dinner on the patio under the stars. Prickly Pear grocery delivered a fridge full of snacks and refreshments and Maribel at the poolside bar had refreshing drinks mid-day. Casa Carlson was quiet, intimate and friendly. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you!

WOW! The pictures don't do this property justice. The views are mind-blowing. We could have spent hours on the deck or in the rooftop pool. The surf spot (Zippers) in front of property was perfect for my husband...and the pool was perfect for me. Communication with the property manager was awesome and Kristen helped us set up activities/transportation/food. Check in and check out with Pablo were easy. We pre-ordered groceries and there are restaurants that are walkable. The unit was clean, beautiful, well-stocked, so comfy, and even had beach chairs/umbrella (for our quick trip to the more swimmer-friendly Playa Palmilla). Everything was dreamy. We hope to be back!

We loved the location on the beach, loved having Gloria cook for us, enjoyed the pools. Would stay again!

This place wow-ed my family and I. The place was so much bigger and grander in person than from the photos - even though the photos were very accurate. My husband and I are big surfers, so we were able to surf everyday since the perfect surf was right out front - you can't get any closer to Zippers break than this. It was also perfect for our 6 year old son to play in the pool all day while we got to watch the surf. This is not the busy social hotel - which is not what we wanted. This is uncrowded and laid back luxury, so if you wanted a meal or drinks it had to be ordered or about a 6 minute walk down the beach which was fine for us, since that meant more peace and quiet. The management staff was very friendly and accommodating for early check in and late check out. They even helped us arrange a massage and pedicure at our rental that was lovely. The rooftop pool and grill area was worth the splurge. We were able to grill one night and have a special private place to relax and watch the stars. I would definitely stay here again!

The property itself is beautiful, clean and has a fantastic view both from the balcony and the pool. The kitchen is well-stocked for eating and cooking, and all amenities present and functional. This property is on the quiet end of the beach which can be a plus or a minus depending on what you are after. The heart of town is just a short ride away though, and there are a few restaurants within walking distance by beach or road. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay and relax with natural beauty our constant companion

I was unable to go due to to unforeseen circumstances, but my husband went and said it was great. Very convenient for surfing.
