I can recommend coming here for a visit to New Orleans. Its quiet and centrally located. It would be great for a group . I stayed with my son and was pleased with the living area and kitchen. I slept well.

This place was everything! The Lola is across from the conversation center. Which was a 5min lyt ride to Bourbon. Going forward we will only stay here.

My friends and I had an amazing stay! We were so grateful to find a last minute stay available after our other reservation fell through the night before our trip. The place is located in an IDEAL spot, just a 5 min drive from all the exciting areas like Decatur, Frenchmen's street, and downtown. It ended up being better located than our original booking. The place was really cute and clean. We loved the blackout curtains in every room, the amazing kitchen, and the cute lobby area with the lobby staff. The check in and check out was the easiest I've ever experienced and I loved using codes to enter the building and our room rather than carrying a key with us. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Bonuses were the cvs vending machine with health/medical essentials, cute soft accent blankets, and the really easy check out.

Sextant stays saved my vacation! I I booked with sextant stays last minute, and they made my experience from check in to check out wonderful. Their on site staff is amazing took great care of me and my family. Thank you so much for everything.

This place was decent. The unit we were in was full of "extras" like nice fixtures and looked pretty, but had a few annoying issues. For one, the water seemed to always be on "high" temperature, and unable to get cold water at all. The first day we were there the water in the shower was scalding hot... and even the cold water in the tap came out warm. Secondly, one of the toilets was very loose from the floor and would rock if you weren't steady on it. Finally, the beds in the two guest rooms looked woefully unsupportive and caved-in in the center. My guests said they were pretty uncomfortable. I will also say that the rooms are very echo-y and the sound quality is poor. I think the rooms could benefit from some sound deadening of sorts. However... All-in-all it was a pretty good stay, as we spent most of our time out on the town, so these issues weren't huge to us. You are relatively close to a lot of homeless folks living under the overpass, but we didn't have any issues with them. The walk to the French Quarter/Bourbon Street/Frenchmen Street was reasonable and we did it probably 10x throughout the week we were there.

The Lola residents are an excellent location for visiting New Orleans, a car is suggested. The space in the units is excellent, however we had several issues in the unit, the prior cleaning of the unit was insufficient with personal remnants of the prior visitors being present, hair in the throw blankets, personal items and finger nails on the floor. I reported the freezer door being broken and the air conditioning not functioning nearly every day of our stay, on the 2nd day they delivered a portable fan, which is totally unacceptable. I was advised by the home office numerous times that the matter would be resolved, it never happened. On the 5th day of the our visit, a gentleman from a HVAC Co. (unmasked) came to attempt to correct the problem, he verbally suggested that the problem was known to the property development to be an issue. The air conditioning, was not corrected and I haven’t received an explanation from Sextant. The other concerns (non functioning drawers, supplies, dirty throw blankets) with the unit were internally resolved by the site staff. Paris, Elvin and Mykel were very responsive and professional. The water pressure issue seems to be a building issue, we made the best of it. I’m waiting for a response from Sextant.
