Location
Very high pitch constant noise from aircon unit when switched off. Like nails on a blackboard, no ability to make it stop. Other than that very quiet room. Could not sleep well

Fabulous central location close to Cuba Street. Had an upgrade to a corner room. We had forgotten an item of clothing a week earlier and the staff had it waiting for us on our return.

Comfortable set up, huge bathroom with amazing walk in shower, loved the washer/dryer combo in the bathroom. Vending machines in hallways were awesome.
The room was not very clean when we got there - toilet and kitchen benches in particular. Toilet was also very high.

really really nice place, keep in mind i was staying in hostels and motels up until here. lol. but room was very spacious, had a small kitchenette with dining table. comfortable bed, nice towels. very easy to walk to where all the shops, eateries and supermarket. there was even a washer / dryer in the bathroom!! which i took advantage of with my smelly hiking clothes.

Only the Comfiness of the beds
There is a rule that wasn't mentioned anywhere on Booking.com which is false advertising. They are forcing people to eat food in the dining/common room when they are neglecting that some people prefer to eat alone. Would have chosen a different accommodation if I knew about this rule

The on site parking system couldn’t safely handle a car with a fixed tow bar.

We had a large suite, with kitchen, sitting area and separate bedroom. It also had a new washer & dryer which was appreciated. It was downtown so within walking distance to sights and restaurants.
Onsite parking is limited and nearby parking (lots and street) is expensive.

1 room wasn't ready by check-in time. Suspect both rooms we had booked hadn't been vacuumed as floors were not clean. WiFi was passable but got sick of it and turned WiFi off to use my mobile data.

Parking is fiddly and the entrance to park and unload luggage is not obvious on first drive past. In the end there were plenty of parks in the street, free overnight and paid during the day

Zimmer war bei Ankunft nur oberflächlich sauber - Haare im Bad, Reiskörner auf der Küchenanrichte- Nachbessern hat nichts gebracht. Frische Handtücher nur suf Anfirdern- sauber wurde umin drei Tagen nicht gemacht.
Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen, wir mussten die AC nutzen

Great to have a little kitchenette, the bed was comfortable by hotel standards. The shower was a good size, clean, and had decent water pressure and the soap smelled lovely. Nice to have heatpump/aircon with full controls in the room. Staff were friendly. Parking on site made unloading and loading a breeze. Easy walk to hospitality and entertainment venues.
The kitchenette rangehood is vented right outside the room and in the Wellington wind it makes a very loud "thwack thwank thwunk" noise 24/7. I highly recommend traveling with earplugs.
The freezer seemed to have an issue which meant the fridge had a large puddle in it, but I was only there for 3 days so it wasn't really a problem for me.

Booked a 1 bedroom apartment for the first time and it was huge! Lots of space and storage as well as plenty of natural light.
The aircon unit is in the lounge area which meant the bedroom was too warm for sleeping, and the aircon didn't actually seem to be working very well either.
