This property was perfect for our family reunion. The games kept the kids occupied. The game table was perfect for the older guests. There was plenty of room for meal preparation. There are 2 refrigerators. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Plus there are multiple restaurants nearby for eating out. Overall, it more than met our needs for the 4 days we were there.

Everything was amazing

Our family really enjoyed the Copper Roost! We stayed the weekend after all the ice so the outside was really wet keeping us inside for the most part, luckily, it has huge spaces comfortably furnished, the kitchen, large dining table and serving island made being inside easy for our group. Everyone enjoyed the games and sitting areas, bedrooms and baths were roomy and perfect. We all agreed it was a great choice for our weekend regardless of the weather and we would absolutely rent it again, best compliment is return guests! Thanks for sharing such a special place with us and being great hosts through out the process!

Upon arrival, the place was very clean and plenty of parking. The first thing we noticed was there is no cabinet pantry or place to put our bread, snacks, drinks, chips, cookies, canned goods, napkins, plastic cups, paper plates, etc. We were going to be there for 6 nights. We had 8 adults and 9 kids, So there was lots of food items. In the online pics we could see 2 doors next to the kitchen, so we thought one was a closet for food items and one was the downstairs laundry/ bathroom. Wrong! One door did lead to the laundry/ bathroom, but the other door was locked! After several hours of waiting for a response from the management company, about where to store our food items, We were told that closet next to the kitchen was for the cleaning people to use. There were No trash bags to be found, only 4 laundry pods, the ping pong ball was missing, The outdoor games are broken and/or missing pieces. The 2 indoor games are also missing pieces to play, so be sure and bring your own games. The only broom to clean up with is so bent up and out of shape we had to buy another to use. The basketballs for the throwing game all flat except 2, those would actually bounce. One of the worst problems we had was the backyard has aerobic septic system problems. It was constantly muddy and had tons of water puddles everywhere. Children couldn’t play outside at all. Another major problem was the chairs around the table were wobbly and falling apart. You could tell someone had tried to fix them by putting long screws from the outside of the chair. Maybe they need glue too? Mini splits in the individual rooms sound great but they are not so great ! Everyone has to be on the same heat or AC to work. (that should be stated somewhere in the instruction books they provide) That’s nutty! Advertised provided High chair has no front tray and port a crib has no sheets! Management co said it just went missing. Management company is a joke. If they do respond, it’s several hours later and they say, oh we just saw this. Sorry! This could be a really nice place to stay, if it were to be kept up better to reflect what is stated in their advertisements. The owners are actually really nice and accommodating, but that is not reflected by the management company they use!

This was the first planned trip for my cousins and I. And we thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Copper Roost. Rooms and living quarters were amazing. Nice and quiet scenery. Kitchen was packed with supplies needed for cooking which made things so easy for us.

This was a nice property. Quiet and relaxing environment. Everything needed was provided. This was the first time our cousins tripped together in 25+ years. Be careful when planning- unable to use hot tub/patio due to rain and cold weather. Breaker ended up not working for us to use patio when no rain.

Loved our time at the property!

This was a great place to stay. Just far enough from city to feel away from it all, yet close enough to not have to drive forever to get something to eat or visit casino.

I booked the Copper Roost for our family getaway. We had never visited Oklahoma, so it seemed a perfect time to combine a visit to Winstar and Choctaw Durant. It was my husband’s birthday week, so I invited his siblings to help us celebrate. There was a total of 13 in our group, with room and beds to spare. Plenty of games and wide open space outdoors. We caught every sunrise and sunset. My sons used the hot tub and fire pit every night. Meals were easy to prepare in fully functional kitchen. The owners thought of everything!!!! I would recommend this place for rest and relaxation. I would recommend you use a personal hot spot if the internet goes out. Douglas, property manager was available for questions and responded promptly and professionally.

We had a great time. It was a Family friendly place and very peaceful!

We really enjoyed our time at the Copper Roost! Was perfect for our family to stay in and was also very accommodating for our family who lived nearby to come visit and be comfortable! We were very impressed with the layout, the activities, even the little details like the awesome welcome basket! Will definitely return in the future.

Wonderful property. Owners stock many things not shown. Toys and games for big and little people. Cooking supplies: foil, sugar, flour, salt, pepper, oil. If you forgot it they might have it after looking around a bit. The gas for the grill was empty and we found a full tank next to the grill the next morning. I can’t say enough good, we will be back. Family of 13.

This was an amazing rental for large groups! The accommodations were outstanding and the amenities for families and large groups were top notch. Definitely recommend it!

Amazing property. I took a group from work for a much needed and well deserved get away. This property suited our needs and really blew away expectations. Very spacious and comfortable.

This place is fantastic. It has everything you need. We needed one thing and it was there in less than 30 minutes!! Beds were great and bathrooms were fab and all modernized. Lots of indoor and outdoor games and no neighbors close. Would definitely book again. Host was lovely to deal with

We had 7 adults and 8 kids ages 11 and under… this property was great! Very clean and well maintained. Not a lot to do in the area, but we stayed plenty busy with indoor and outdoor games! Would highly recommend if this is the area you’re looking to stay.

Took Chickasha’s Girls Powerlifting team here to stay the night for Regionals in Durant. We LOVED the place! Had plenty of space for our large group, super clean facility, and enjoyed the air hockey and foosball table. It was SO much better than staying in a hotel and even had enough space to park the bus. If we are ever that way, we are staying again and highly recommend to others!

We celebrated our Christmas here and it exceeded our expectations. Were not expecting there be a Christmas tree or decorations. Overall, beautiful location

The Roost was perfect for our large family Thanksgiving. Plenty of seating and space for everyone. We enjoyed playing games (inside and outside) and watching football on the big screen. The accommodations were fantastic and the little touches, such as shower amenities, we’re unexpected. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and all the families came prepared for pictures. Thank you for providing such a great location for large gatherings.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the Copper Roost! We were able to enjoy some time with friends and family for the weekend. We grilled, played games, cooked out and enjoyed the beautiful sunset view! We definitely want to stay again!

This was the perfect setup to host our annual fantasy football draft. Close to the casino and huge indoor area. We played corn hole inside and enjoyed having a huge TV to watch sports! Beds were comfortable and had everything you need. Don’t unplug brown cord by coffee maker!! It takes out Wifi 😀. Highly recommend!

I cant say enough how much we loved staying here! The place is absolutely stunning! It is decorated so beautifully, and it felt like being at home! It is super easy to find, close enough to town to do anything you want, but far enough away that you dont get all the noise and can enjoy the nature sounds! I especially loved watching the birds in the morning around the purple Martin bird feeder! Thank you so much!

We loved our weekend there! The space was perfect for our annual women’s retreat/family reunion. We loved having a dining table and couch seating big enough for the whole group, cozy and beautiful bedrooms & bathrooms, and fun game space to entertain us. Everything was very clean and functioned as it should. Highly recommended for large group gatherings!!

Had a wonderful stay for my family!! Plenty of placed to sleep for 13 of us!! And loved the table & counter to be able to sit all together & put out our spread!! Only advise I could give would be to spray for little bugs as they wanted to join the party!!! GREAT, BEAUTIFUL PLACE!!!!

Two nights just wasn’t enough! We wanted to stay longer! We had so much fun gathering with 3 other families this past weekend! With 7 adults and 11 kids, The Copper Roost had beds for everyone, seating on couches for lounging, a great large table and island for eating, games to occupy everyone, and was all around so accommodating! The kids wanted to live there! We took a picnic to Lake Texoma and splashed in the water. It was so much fun and so convenient. Durant, OK is super close, Sherman, TX has some fun shopping, and Frisco, TX is a good day trip! We can’t wait to go back and explore (or relax) more!

We enjoyed our weekend away with four separate families in the beautiful Copper Roost! There was ample space for the kids to play (indoors and out) while offering adults areas to retreat. The bedrooms are spacious and appreciate that all king bedrooms connect to a bathroom. The space is both large and cozy. Being so close to Lake Texoma was great especially when visiting with multiple kids. Definitely considering a return trip!

Our stay was for a family wedding. The copper roost was perfect for extended family to gather before the wedding. The grandkids loved the air hockey, pop a shot and foosball. The decor was beautiful in every room. Everything appeared new fresh and clean. Unusual rain amounts left some muddy areas for parking but we were able to park in some grassy areas. We suggested adding more gravel to the parking areas for future guests. This is a great place for families with kids.

Lots of space for everyone and plenty of games for everyone to have a good time. Beautifully decorated!!!! Fantastic bathrooms and great beds.
