Due to apparent Ferry cancellelation the room.was.last minute " reserved" while i was driving on the highway in snow storm. To be paid at the desk on check in. 2 hours later the Ferry was now not canceled, so I immedia called and emailed the motel as well as Bookings to cancel the reservation. Was told manager not and to email. I already emailed. To this moment zero reply. The motel went ahead and billed my credit card for the room last night even though I was told.i would be paying upon check in. This is very shifty and outright thievery.

The evasive conversation from the person who answered the phone ans the non response from the manager to my calls and email. No help.at all from Bookongs.com .WILL.NOT USE YOUR SITE AGAIN

Great location close to downtown

It seemed rather insecure.The back door was open to anyone to enter,no lock or security camera.The stairs up to the floors are wide open to any who want to go in and out.The room did not have any window that would open to let in fresh air.Is this not a hazard in a fire.The last thing was please wash the coffee pots with some soap and water, the ones where complimentary breakfast is served.Shine those glass pots please.

Great location and comfortable room

Operating the TV wasn’t straightforward and the TV remote didn’t “communicate” with the TV when hitting the power button. Phone did not work and breakfast items were limited. These issues were addressed and handled promptly. The inn has a potential of being a great place to stay without these minor glitches.

Convenient location

Didn’t quite match the pictures. Was expecting more from our room. Ie, it said our room would have a fire place etc but there was none. Quite dated and no privacy if you want to open your curtains.

Nothing

Didn’t like anything well except the young lady at the desk when we checked out like 15 mins into our stay. The smell was so bad that all of us had problems breathing and our allergies were off the charts. And of course the manager was no where to be seen the two times we showed up to see if we could get our money back. We also sent some nice emails to the manager and still heard nothing . One time we came back to talk to the manager and the front smelled like someone went to the washroom on the carpet. They also say there is an ocean view .. well after you have to open the door to a very hot and muggy hallway to look out the dirty windows. Myself and my friends only stayed for 15 minutes and this is what we got from it. We are not a group of young people who haven’t travelled places . Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone not even my pets!!! Even after our experience it still would have been nice if the manager even acknowledged us but nothing. Poorly ran business

Air conditioning worked great.

Room was very small, cleanliness was not great, mold on the shower curtain, tub was badly stained, needs to be upgraded. 4 people staying in the room and gave us 2 towels. Breakfast was awful. Would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was awful. Greasy bacon, French fries, cold scrambled eggs. Fruit was horrible first day, not too bad 2nd day

Everything. The filth under the bed was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen at a hotel.

Pretty basic - Scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. Juice, tea/coffee. The staff seem new and not very experienced at setting up or serving which will come in time but very polite and did their best to please.

Not enough towels, no elevator. Had to take the stairs with our luggage. No complimentary coffee/tea in the room.

There was a hole in the wall stuffed with paper towel and the TV/Cable did not work in the room

Leaving

Well! The dining room was awful bad smell staff was fighting and food was cold. We waited 30 minutes for a platter of wings, fries, onion rings, mozza sticks and the food was cold like it had been sitting for a while. Then we go to check into our room and we had booked a room with two beds as on the reservation we said 2 adults and a child we go in a room with 1 bed. So our grandchild stayed with other people. Walls are paper thin the hotel smelled really bad and got woken up at like 5:30-6:00 in the morning by two staff members talking really loudly in the hall ways. Was not a nice stay definitely not worth the amount we spent especially when under construction they could have put that somewhere when people booked or sent out an email.

Location is good. staff friendly as well.

beware with the pre authorization of credit card.. I m facing an unnecessary dispute of getting the amount back into my account. Hotel says they sent it and credit card says they dont see it .. What to do next .. in abyss

No coffee in room Empty cereal containers.no toast

The restaurant looked like a crime scene . With do not cross tape across half the room. Empty cereal containers no bagles or bread Empty coffee carafe so no breakfast Looked so unkempt I wouldn't have eaten there anyway.

The room was not ready for occupancy. TV, Internet,heat pump all were not working. Had to be moved to another room at 3a.m. Not Good at All

Didn’t stay - no access to hallway near room. Very busy with people hanging around. Cancelled room but money not refunded. Will follow up tomorrow. Not happy!!

Left before the breakfast was available, was told it was cold grab and go breakfast when checking in. The location wasn.t too bad, they are making some slight improvements to the building but it seemed a little sketchy if you asked me. Kind of like a cheap motel.

More comfortable bed would have been nice
