Not worth the price you pay! The room size was good but the bedding had holes the pillows were so lumpy we went out and got our own. Only one towel had to ask for more the door was very hard to open and you had to use force. The bathroom door had to be kept open I was stuck in it for 10 minutes as I could not open it and had to get someone to push as I pulled so we kept it open from then on. The wifi kept going in and out. The pool was closed and that was not advertised on this site and was the main reason we chose this hotel. Reception didn't seem to care about any of the issues 😕 lots of people complaining.

We stayed at travel lodge by whyndam in sydney , we were told pool would be open, it was NOT, the arcade downstairs took our money but games didnt work, pool table was out of order , NO elevators worked , many ice machines not working!. Also our tub in our room was FULL of black mold shampoo was used.

The check out receptionist was very pleasant. She listened politely while I voiced my complaint and apologized.

The location is dingy and dark as is the hotel. The parking lot was very dark. There's a bump on the entrance that made it difficult to get the luggage cart up and over. The room smelled so awful. The bathroom smelled like urine and the floor was sticky. The A/C didn't work efficiently, emitted a stale odor, and then smelled like it was burning so I turned it off. There was no TV remote. I called guest services, no answer. Called housekeeping,no answer. Called the general manager, no answer. Granted, it was around 9 pm, but guest services should have answered or at least returned my call. When I checked out, the response was that I should have gone to the front desk. Seriously?! No, they should have answered the phone or returned my call when they saw caller ID. Also, some child screamed off and on all night. AND, there were teenagers being rowdy and playing loud music. It was my worst lodging experience. Even though the receptionist was pleasant and apologized, she could have offered some sort of compensation. Oh, in addition, the chair upholstery was dingy and disgusting; I didn't even want to touch it. The hinges were rusty as well as the bathtub surround.

The swimming pool being renovated in july. Some of equipment in gym not working. Rusted. Then the game room machines not working we asked for our money back

20 minutes to Newfoundland ferry. Amazing breakfast! Eggs, sausage, homefries, pancakes, cereals, bagels, etc.

Pool was unavailable. Shower was gross - not dirty but tiles we’re poorly re-grouted, rusty ceiling tiles, etc. Floors dirty.

Note on the desk at check in saying "pool closed until further notice" - this should be communicated BEFORE the guest arrives

No water in Shower Dirty walls and stained ceiling Dirty Curtains Disappointed in the Breakfast..went elsewhere. Waited 10 minutes to get checked in. No staff and General Manager ended up serving me after Saying Hellooo a few times.

There were stains all over our room. We booked here because of the pool which was closed the whole stay. Beds were comfortable but pull out couch was stained and mattress was completely worn out.
