There was a lot of grime and rust around the bathroom, the sauna wasn't working and the pool lockers needs upgrades.

Hotel is older but was clean and comfortable. Gym is large. Hot tub was closed. Breakfast was okay. Mostly bread products. Small amount of boiled eggs, egg whites, bacon and very overcooked potato patties and sausage. Would return if in the area again. Staff are friendly

This hotel is showing signs of being very tired! They try but it is in need of renovation! It is your typical hockey tournament hotel!
Very disappointed in the fact that everything in the breakfast room was throw away! Paper products and plastic utensils! Come on people, dust off your glass plates and flatware and glasses and cups! It’s the new rage! You have two absolutely wonderful girls working in the breakfast room that deserve honourable mention!

We ended up staying here for 5 days after our ferry was cancelled. It was obvious that they were prepping for the off season, so our first room didn't have a working tv. They moved us to another room which also was missing some regular items but again it's off season and they were doing upgrades and dealing with leaks from the incessant rain. All the staff were amazing every day as we kept rechecking in and extending our stay. The bed was so comfy, and we will definitely stay again. The only down side was the heater was VERY loud so it was very over stimulating.

A little disappointed for the first time after multiple stays. Was booked in an unrenovated room even though hotel was mostly empty. Bathroom was not in good shape.
Breakfast wasn’t very appetizing, especially on the second day. It was evident that food was probably reheated from day before, because went to breakfast first thing and you could tell the items were not fresh.

Stay at your hotel was good however on arrival we looked at the front entrance and we’re not impressed as the door glass and windows were so dirty we all most drove away however we went inside to see a much cleaner hotel.

Room and bed very comfy but whole feel of the place not nice and very tired. Few issues with noise from couple other residents who told me they were being housed there under emergency housing scheme

Our room was on the 3rd floor the hotel does not have a lift!!
The breakfast was served on paper plates with plastic cutlery?? The bathtub had rust around the bottom edge. The bed base could not be pushed back to the wall because of plug sockets. The hotel is very dated and old. Needs complete refurbishment. Not worth $50 a night we were charged over $120!!

Overall a good hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly and rooms were spacious. Checking in however took over 30 mins with one person dealing with a long queue and fabric of the building a little tired and worn. Would stay again because of the staff.

The room was very welcoming and pleasant. Thank you ver much. Your two ice makers, however, were out of order!!!
Your hot breakfast was very delicious..so were the omelets and several selections of fruit.

Rust around the tub, mold on the grout in the bathroom, fixtures were corroded and dirty, leaking window in bedroom area, mold on ceiling above window, water on rug below the window and the exhaust fan did not seem to be working. No writing material, no channel guide for the TV and nothing about what was available around town as to shopping or restaurants. Will never recommend this to anyone else and will not stay there again ever. Had to leave a day early.

Convenient location. Pool area was nice. Rooms are a little dated: two of the lamp shades were old/stained otherwise room was clean and comfortable.

Our smoke alarm went off beeping every minute at 1:57am and had to move rooms finally at 230am. Did not fall back to sleep till 345ish am and up at 6. Staff said they would call me or the manager would but to also send him an email. No response as of yest with 2 emails sent. I would like a reduction on room and no response. When we have had issues at other hotels it has always been deducted at checkout. This is the 1st for me and would never recommend this hotel.
I use the travelodge lots. Just not at Sydney NS.

Difficult to get out of if you need to take a left. But do like UPS drivers and take a right. Hotel is dated on the exterior but ok on interior. No elevator can make it difficult for some to carry their luggage up the stairs.

The name "Wyndham" used to be an indicator of quality. I've had two experiences with their properties this year, the other being in Bellingham, WA, and both were not just disappointing, but uncomfortably dirty and in need of rehabilitation.

The room was filthy .Dirty sox in back of sofa, empty pepsi bottle under the bed, a head cap under the bed, tub drain all rusted, mold on shower tiles, smelled moldy, spots on walls and door

My stay wasn’t what I expected i tried without success to get the tv working in the room and all that I was offered was $20.00 off my bill by the front desk clerk that was okayed by his manager.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at your hotel.
What let it down was the bathroom. It needs repairs and a general freshening up. Also I asked that the toilet seat be tightened down, i was told it would be done, it never was.

The staff and room were nice. The gym could be improved, there is a lot of equipment but some of them were out of service. It would have been nice to have all working.

I like the fact that things r easily accessible for shopping areas and I don't like, the site said , no money until u stayed , not true. we had to pay upfront before staying . Other than that , excellent staff , very friendly and helpful .
