The home was beautiful, peaceful, and close to beach. Owner was friendly and easy to communicate with, great check in check out process. We are very happy with our stay.

We LOVED this property. Everything is top of the line from the sheets to the Wolf oven and cooktop and beautiful large (and spotlessly clean) fridge. We were in 1 short walking distance to A1A and the beach and state park.

We (myself, husband, son & girlfriend) love this property! Son & girlfriend had their own private quarters while me & hubby took the main floor. Location is amazing as you have the beach steps away, pool & our favorite - the backyard! We spent hours watching the wildlife, then took a swim and later headed to the ocean. Absolutely perfect! Cannot say enough about the host! Super responsive and very very kind. We will definitely book again. Regret? That we couldn’t stay longer :)

This property has everything you need for a memorable beach vacation. The expansive lot boasts a large pool with plenty of outdoor seating in front and in back. You can even launch your kayak in the backyard. The ducks and iguanas are friendly. Enjoy the fabulous ocean view from the kitchen featuring subzero and wolf appliances with beautiful stone countertops. The host provides full size containers of dishwasher soap and laundry detergent when most rentals provide only tiny containers. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and well appointed. Beds were comfy. The primary bathroom shower head is really nice. There is an abundance of towels for showering and beach use. An unexpected amenity was the beach cart with 4 chairs and two umbrellas. It made the short walk to the beach very easy. This property works well for a large family as the two other sleeping areas are downstairs with exterior access. The kiddos can stay downstairs and contain all the noise while the adults can relax upstairs. Or, two couples could have their own privacy and personal space. The host was very responsive and made our stay very enjoyable. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

My family and I had an awesome stay at Summer Joy Rental. The property was very baby / kid proofed which was awesome as we traveled with a 20 m/o. The pool was beautiful and warm. My son loved!!! watching the Iguanas and ducks in the morning. The home was immaculate and fully equipped with items that you would normally have to purchase at other rental properties. I would absolutely recommend this property for your next stay in Ft. Lauderdale!

Good location

The location of this property was perfect. Super quick walk to the beach, but felt very private at the end back lot of the street. The property has so many amenities, everything you would need for a perfect beach vacation. Lots of beach chairs and umbrellas, and even a football for my boys to play on the beach. We used the kayaks and loved them. The downstairs bedroom and game room area was perfect for my three teenage boys. We will definitely stay here again!

Host super responsive. Property was amazing. All amenities available plus best of both worlds, one block to the beach and the backyard was a completely different experience with the pool, hammock, kayaks, wildlife, and water. We will definitely be back!

The location is amazing. Just a few houses away from the beach and busy A1A, but feels totally private. Close to Ft Lauderdale tourist sites. We loved walking/jogging the A1A beachfront at sunrise every day. The backyard of the property is special - it backs up to a shallow freshwater tract and the state park. It feels like a tropical botanic garden - with iguanas, egrets, ducks, turtles - and is miraculously quiet; you completely forget that you are in an urban area. Property manager was friendly and responsive. The house is provisioned with everything you need for a beach getaway (lots of towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, hammock - along with the simple things like soap, laundry detergent, spices). Two of the three bedrooms are only accessible via outside entrances - so the property is probably more appropriate for adults or older children. Our 20-yr old children loved the privacy - and the backyard becomes your second living room. We would definitely stay at this rental again in the future.

Great home....Erick was very attentive and was only a text or phone call away on the two occasions we had questions. It was hot but the A/C was amazing....as were all the appliances. Thank you !!

We went to Ft. Lauderdale to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday. What a perfect spot!! Teenage boys were downstairs with their own space and absolutely loved the kayaking and fishing!

My friends and I stayed at this property for the July 4th holiday weekend and it was even better than we expected. We had wonderful privacy with the property on the river, we could walk to the beach in less than 5 mins and we could look forward to the refreshing pool after a long day in the sand. Erick was especially accommodating and made the check in/out process super easy and seamless. From the moment I booked my stay, Erick was very attentive and accommodating! The check-in/out process was so easy and stress-free. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk to the beach. I couldn’t have asked for a better house to celebrate my bachelorette weekend. The layout is insane, you can easily stay at the property your entire stay! So many activities; kayaking, swimming in the pool, sound system inside and outside!! If I could give more than 5 stars, best believe I would! Thank you so so much for everything!!

100% would recommend staying here. Beautiful house with great amenities. Not even a 2 minute walk to the beach and your own pool. It is split into 3 different units so if some of the people you are with want to have privacy or go to sleep at a different time than others you can do that. There are floats, beach chairs and beach towels. Plenty of bath towels, blankets, pillows and even a kurig and kcups. Could not of found a better place to stay with a group of people.

We stayed at this property during our kids’ spring break. I was concerned that college kids would still dominate the area, but there were none to be found, I suppose with Easter being pretty late this year. Win #1. Win #2- We arrived nit realizing that this house is across the street from the beach. The aerial in the pic does not do this location justice. You’re literally steps from the beach. Win #3- We arrived to a sparkling clean, modernly designed home and the walls, floors, and countertops are white, so hiding dirt isn’t easy. Not only was it clean, but it smelled good. Kudos to the cleaning staff for the attn to details. Win #4- The property is beautiful and has everything one would need in a vacay home. It’s in the description, but again, the pics don’t do it justice. The lagoon in the back is really cool, we didn’t see alligators so that’s a plus (we were concerned 😂), but it was cool to watch the many iguanas roam the backyard. Additionally, the pool area was perfect with turf instead of grass surrounding it, which I appreciated. The only downside and this could be a plus for families with older children, is that the downstairs bedrooms are not accessible from inside the house. Only the master bedroom is accessible from indoors. There is an exterior staircase off of the kitchen in the back of the house that leads to the downstairs area which has a rec room, kitchenette, full bath and two queen beds. There is a keypad lock on it, so it’s secure, but if you have little ones who need you at night or if you want to be able to hear signs of danger, distress or kids’ general mayhem, this house may present a challenge. Our kids are 7, 10, and 13 and warmed up to sleeping down there by night 3. With phones and food, they could just call us if they needed us. Overall, this house is awesome. I’ll be back when my kids have a bit more courage. 😊

This was the perfect home me and my three friends. We loved how secluded the property felt even though we were a short walk or drive to the bustling boardwalk. We used the pool and kayaks to enjoy the State Park and wildlife. We also walked through the state park each day and loved how easy it was to walk to the beach...even carrying the wonderful beach chairs and a beach umbrella! The home was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals in and the beds were very comfortable.

Really enjoyed our time here. House was beautiful. Location was fantastic just one short block from the beach. Owner was very responsive, even ordered us life vests. Had access to everything we needed. Beach chairs and umbrellas,. Kayaks, etc. Property is gorgeous. Loved having the beautiful lagoon right in our back yard. House is set up like 3 separate apartments with access only from the outside. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location to be minutes from the beach and be able to hop on a kayak from the backyard. House was spacious, clean and fully stocked. We couldn't use the pool since it wasn't heated, but we utilized the beach chairs/umbrella and grill. Great stay!

Erick, the property owner, was so friendly & accommodating. The home was clean & had everything you needed. We loved having access to the kayaks for the canal behind & was a short walk to the beach. This place checked all of our boxes & we can’t wait to stay again!

Casa Alinna was ideal for our holiday-period family vacation. The house was spotless and modern and Erick, our host, was highly responsive to any question or need that we had. What we really loved, in addition to the house itself and its extensive yard and swing, was the large windows which looked out onto Birch State Park. The freshwater lagoon running along the property brought an endless and exciting parade of wildlife all day – ducks, iguanas, turtles, lizards, egrets, to name just some of our visitors. And every day we jumped in the on-site kayaks provided to see more. Plus, the beach was only 200 yards away. So you really feel like you’re getting away, and it’s incredibly relaxing. We look forward to our next visit!

Going from a miserable winter in Texas to a beautiful Tropical Lagoon in a back yard was an awesome experience. House is awesome, we kayaked every day. The owner was on point with any questions and anything we needed. Will be back!

Fantastic Stay. The house was shockingly large; bigger than we anticipated. It's all about location though. Being able to walk to the beach with the kids and then back to jump in the pool is the best because of the sand. A lot of grillin & chillin. Highly recommend. Easy to find with a solid parking situation. Owner took great care of us. Would love to come back...that's for sure.
