Bathroom had black mold on the roof and walls, the toaster was still full of old crumbs and the couch was broken. (They did offer to take the couch out when I brought it to their attention)

Bearing in mind that you get what you pay for I think Tui Lodge offers good value. The staff were prompt in replying to messages and very helpful in arranging a self-check in for us as we arrived late and left early. (Thank you) The bed was large and super-comfy, the sheets spotlessly clean and towels soft. Also a short walk in the morning to catch a connecting bus for the Airport. The motel is in walking distance of Riccarton Westfield (Mall) where a range of buses including the Orbiter can be caught

The facilities are old and tired and have seen better days. However both the shower and carpet were both new and there are signs that refurbishment may be under way. Blenheim Rd is a busy business area and the road was a bit noisy until around 10.00pm. We were in the front unit closest to the road and slept well overall - I imagine units further from the road would be quieter.

The only thing that was clean was the benchtop. There was mould all through the windows and corners of the floor, the bathroom smelled like a public bathroom, shower had mould, the double bed was broken and had a massive dip in it. There was a VERY suspicious stain on the couch cushion. Very dusty, stuff on the walls. Windows were dusty and dirty. Would never stay here again, this has to be some sort of health code violation... Absolutely disgusting.

The location of this facility suited our purpose, we chose this as it accepted dogs and we had our dog with us.

The motel was very dated, there were mystery stains on the sofa and a burn mark on the bed cover. There were also many stains on the walls. While it appeared some surface cleaning had been done, it really need to be deep cleaned and repainted. We would have made the decision to move onto another location or head home but we had been travelling all day and it would not have been safe to travel. In the morning it took 15 minutes for hot water to come through the shower head.
