Can’t say enough about the caliber of the accommodations, hotel and the amazing service staff. Only real hiccup was the cleaning staff not having the rooms ready until around 5-6pm if needed.

A far better than average Sheraton , reaching a new standard far the brand

Super friendly staff. Fantastic attention to detail and really helpful! Great room (Club room was worth it). Selection of food at the club was great value for us! Cleanliness was top rate, housekeeping were really good at their job. Hotel was centrally located, with most major attractions in walking distance. The concierge team were fantastic, they helped me book a tour for my wife and I, which was one of the highlight of my trip! Star staff I had the pleasure of interacting with: Front office: Tom and Isabella F&B: Allen at the club lounge Concierge: Massimo. If you meet any of the above team members, they will go above and beyond to make your stay that little bit special.

Mistakenly gave me a room with someone else in it already. Staff tried to make up with free breakfast but didn’t make up for the stress of disturbing someone. Also had a fire evacuation at midnight in the rain, no reason given, and then false alarm again 6 AM with Alarm for 1 mins. Worst stay in a while.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton. Great location, good food/cocktails, comfortable room, and wonderful spa! 10/10 would recommend the deep muscle massage at the One Spa. Purchase the breakfast ahead of time so you can save a little. If you book it day of, it’s slightly more expensive.

Great hotel. Clean and safe. Big rooms.

Ok stay not fantastic. A little taken aback when checking in to have photo ID demanded… not been asked for this before when travelling in the UK but apparently it’s “Company policy” didn’t have any on me as it’s not a legal requirement in the UK so I had to give 2x credit cards… what’s going on. Rooms are getting a little tired and could do with a refresh, if your charging £400+ a night you expect it to be better than is on offer. No mini bar stocked so no night cap as I could not be bothered to call down for a drink and wait… Other brands are getting better at providing extras such as soda free of charge and chocolates, but this seems not to be on the cards for the mighty Sheraton Grand Edinburgh.

Room was clean and very well presented, staff were all very helpful and friendly

Our stay was great. We did not know that the pool only allowed kids for two separate hours each day. That was a surprise. But we made it worked and enjoyed the stay.

One night for the Taylor Swift tour the room was really comfortable and all the staff were lovely.

The hotel overall was great. What I thought was misleading was that access to all the SPA amenities were extra. What was included wasn't very glamourous. For the $600 I paid a night, it should have been included in the room rate. Otherwise the hotel is great.

Fantastic hotel located in a good spot! There was no hair dryer in the room and the situation with the bathroom being glass made the whole room light up when someone used it in the middle of the night. Controlling any of the room lights is also inconvenient. A hair dryer in the room would have been helpful too. That obviously didn’t change our experience much and we would stay there again. Service was amazing too.

The hotel was great and parking excellent BUT in this modern day and age to charge for Wi-Fi seems scandalous.

This is a full service hotel centrally located and within easy walking distance to most things in the center of Edinburgh.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Lovely room. Good food and service throughout. Look forward to returning soon.

This was and still is my most favourite hotel, LOVE IT ❤️. Staff very attentive, Spa is amazing, food is fantastic, rooms are spotless and comfortable beds. Have no negtives, everything positive! Also love the fast check out option.

Great location for wandering the Royal Mile. The serv8ice was great, especiall Donald.

The morning breakfast buffets hot food was cold and had an odd taste which I suspect caused me a bout of food poisoning which lasted for two days. Please monitor the temperature of the steam tables to ensure it is safely maintained.
