The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was great. But from the afternoon to the late evening there was an annoying noise we could hear, possibly a service elevator. Happy with the experience apart cobb the annoying noise.

Movenpick is really a best place to stay as they have an awesome Restaurant with an affordable buffet breakfast with lots of options as well as the room service. The amenities like the gym, swimming pool and sauna are truly awesome, functional and beneficial. The 4pm choco fountain was also awesome treat for us. We will highly recommend this to our family and friends. We will definitely come back again whenever we stay in Wellington.

Good location & convenient to have parking.

The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The property, however, was a bit disappointing as we expected more from a 5-star hotel.

The room was mostly modern with a. Good tv, lots of Sky channels, nice bathroom, staff were friendly and nice. The room itself was dark and didn't have a nice feeling, it was very small, with a view of the carpark ramp. It was situated on a lower level than the reception with three other rooms on the same level as the meeting rooms and and office, the rest of the rooms were two levels up from the level we were on. It felt like we were in the basement. The level itself was not secure and anyone could walk off the street and take the lift without swipe card. The room was next to the carpark entrance. The room had no additional security on the door, other than the swipe card access. No deadlock. No bolt. The air-conditioning was very noisy and constantly switched on and off. I could hear noises from upstairs, from the waste pipes, from the neighbour rooms. Overall very disappointed for a hotel that claims 5 star views of Wellington. The staff did not ask about our stay when we checked out. Would not stay here again.

Great Hotel in the convenient location. Breakfast was delicious!

I absolutely loved my stay! I can't believe the free chocolate buffet! But also the breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the service was excellent. And complimentary free cookies and tea at check in! I upgraded to a room with a city view and it was an amazing room with super king bed and wonderful bathroom and other facilities. I also used the pool and the gym which were both great. Would stay again!

have enjoyed our stay, the fitness room and pool are useful as well as the guest laundry. the service in the restaurant seems a bit tired, bit the food is really good.

Very very old building and tiny rooms (think 1950’s building) but clean enough.

Excellent is the word to describe our stay. Staff are respectful and courteous. And the food is great. TV channel selection not so, Netflix, Prime and YouTube should be there. Thank you.

Hotel is in a very quiet area and parking is available at a cost. It is an easy walk into the city and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed two nights in a Family Suite and loved every single second! Even before our arrival I was impressed by the amazing service - we were attending an event so checking in late (right on our toddlers bed time) so I called ahead and Katie on reception had made sure the portacot was already made up in our room and all the comforts we needed were organised and even gifted our toddler the cutest Kea soft toy. Checkin and car valet were seamless and quick. Our Family Suite was modern, spacious and comfortable - individual climate control in each room, comfortable bedding, blackout curtains, windows that opened slightly on safety locks. We couldn’t have been happier with our room. The room service menu is vast and restaurant quality, quick to order via QR code or phone call. Highlights of the facilities for us included the indoor pool, Kids Retreat Room, daily free chocolate hour, the food and the amazing service and staff. This hotel is located in a very quick area of the city fringe, we didn’t hear any noise from outside and found it very easy to commute from. Can’t wait to come back and stay again thank you Movenpick Wellington. We have also previously stayed at the Auckland Movenpick Hotel and the service and quality is just superb, well done to your staff. Thank you again ~ Candice M & Family

Very comfortable and quiet room, I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was pleasant but overpriced for what it was, though still convenient for what I was looking for. I would absolutely stay here again

We liked looking at the trees out of our bedroom window. There was a lot of noise in our room and outside which we couldn't identify. Sounded like something in the ceiling or air vent.

Easy walk to Courtney Place, quick uber to airport. Staff were fabulous. Great place to stay.
