Cheap and cheerful hotel in a great location a short walk from King's Cross/St Pancras Station. The perfect base for exploring central London. It was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. They were happy to let us leave our luggage both before checking in and after checking out. What more could you want? We'll be back the next time we're in town.

Reception staff was pleasant. Room was clean. Decor was dated but the beds were comfortable, we slept soundly. It was great value for money for a Saturday night in London. I would stay again for a night or two if we needed a budget stay.

This is an ideal place to stay in London on a budget, very close to King's X and St Pancras, offering nice rooms where everything is clean and everything works. The staff are friendly, they're happy to let you leave bags in the reception for pickup later. London is so expensive (prohibitively so for many people) and this hotel fills a need for quality, affordable accommodation. I'd definitely stay there again.

The check in was easy and nice. The staff was always polite. The room was quite good for the price and the location was very convenient. We left our belongings and we always felt safe!! I highly recommend this place for a short family trip in beautiful London!

Close to King‘s Cross Station. Currently some construction works are ongoing outside starting early in the morning; cozy, but small room; can absolutely recommend for staying a few nights in London; the mandatory pre-payment was something i did not quite like.

Great location, clean, good wifi, helpful staff. I traveled alone and stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. No problem to use the shared toilet and shower. The manager Paul is very helpful and friendly. Would love to stay again.

The Macdonald was very close to Kings Cross Underground station and 20 to 30 min walk to leicester square

Very happy with my favourite budget hotel in london... clean comfortable friendly and perfect location. Room at the back of hotel was lovely and quiet. Highly recommended.

Within sight of King's X/St Pancras, less than 5 minutes walk from these stations. An effortless check in process. Good use of folding table to maximise room space. Also worth checking out is the regenerated Coal Drops Yard just beyond the stations. Recommended!

From the cleanliness of the rooms to the thoughtful touches like complimentary toiletries and a well-stocked minibar, it was evident that the staff takes great pride in ensuring guests have a memorable stay. The location of MacDonald Hotel was also perfect for us, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. We loved being able to explore the city during the day and return to the comfort of our hotel in the evening.
