While it did not ruin our week away as a family, the experience with the Hampton Inn (Laval) very nearly did. The accommodations are tired but acceptable and the complimentary breakfast was okay. The trouble came with the use of the pool. Although it is not advertised, the hotel opens its diminutive pool up to the community for swimming lessons. A charitable practice but not great for business. It is our understanding that the swimming instructors and students were to stay in half the pool and leave the other half for guests. Our children did their best to stay to their half and not disturb the other swimmers. We were proud of their courtesy. The swimming instructor shooed them out of the way and raised her voice at them to “stop!” when they were in her way. She made our children feel very unwelcome- surprising for hotel guests. On confrontation, the staff assured my wife they would look into it but then reported that it was the fault of our children. We were disappointed. The hotel is okay but this customer service is a new low. Had we known about the availability of the pool, we would have chosen another hotel. And we certainly would have chosen another hotel based on the customer service we received!

Cleanliness ,Property condition & facilities are excellent

The staff is excellent.

Hotel needs renovation and remove old smelly carpets . Also was problem with water pressure in shower .Beds were nice.All doors should be regularly cleaned. Breakfast was nice.

Everything was very good except the ice machines on 3 floors did not work.

It was rainy afternoon, wanted to go walking. We did not have an umbrella. We asked the staff for one. Policy is we can not leave the property with the umbrella. I also suggested leaving a deposit and they declined the offer. We were staying 2 more nights. They should review that policy and provide paying customers with an umbrella if needed. Other than that staff was very helpful.

I like that the hotel is located near a mall and driving distance from a grocery store, pharamacy, and Tim Hortons. Easy and safe parking as well.

Pros: Clean, included breakfast, good value for money, 24hr check-in Cons: If you are going there for the EV charging, I would not recommend it, because their system is quite inefficient. It is first come first serve, but not for the spot but for the card. So if you are staying at the hotel for 3 days, they give you a card for the EV charger and that person keeps that card for 3 days. Most often times, the EV chargers were not being used but people had no access because they only have 3 cards for 4 EV chargers. They either need to get more cards or don’t have the card system at all.

We found the hotel nice and quiet. It was a relaxing stay and the breakfast was a nice bonus. Our room had a few issues, but it was clean and comfortable. There was a cracked sink in the bathroom, a cleaning cloth left behind by the cleaner, and the cable on worked on 3 channels.

This Hampton inn is a good place to stay.

Probably one of the best continental breakfasts I’ve had! The hotel was near by local shopping centers and various dining options and not too far from the airport.

no hot water on second day and my reservation was cancelled when we got there due to credit card didn't go thru. We got charged alot more due to the issue. That wasn't fair.
