Great location; not too close to the town so nice and quiet but walkable. Good parking arrangements.

Hôtel is ok and is clean. Parking is excellent and was a real benefit as finding parking in the main area of La Rochelle is a nightmare.
Location is a bit commercial and out of the main area, but there is a shuttle water taxi that cuts off have of the walk to the main area, with this stopping at 11:45pm. The location therefore ended up being ok. Breakfast was ok but expensive.
No safe in room which was a bit of an issue. The hotel also only provides one bath towel for your stay and charges per towel to change this.
Each room appears to have its own hot water cylinder, so make sure that the first person in the bathroom does not run off all of the hot water - a full bath would use it all.
No one on reception from 8pm till 8am, although you are given a code.

Location was great, Just 5 minutes Walk to harbour, Aquarium, super Market and Restaurants.
The description on Expedia was wrong about the service. If you stay longer than 6 nichts, No towels are provided and No room service. However the nice service personel have been accomodating and gave us towels for free

Stayed for a trade fair in the nearby Espace Encan and rented a bicycle from the hotel. Excellent location also for the vast marina complex and the ferry into the old port. My only gripes are the very cumbersome wifi and the lack of a/c, as la Rochelle can get very hot. Top marks to the extremely helpful staff!

The hotel clerk, Manon, was friendly and welcoming with espresso and croissants to share. Clean facilities and near to the waterfront (within walking distance). Good value for the money during the off-season. We will definitely visit another Odalys property in the future.

Spacious well-equipped room, although furniture was a bit tired, and a bulb had blown in the bathroom making it quite dark. Good amenities with the pool, and good location - only 15 minute walk into the old town, and a supermarket close by. Reception was very friendly and helpful - provided a good suggestion for dinner, avoiding the tourist traps. Good off-street parking.

Property is well located near all the attractions and buzz of the downtown tourist port area. Stores are nearby and everything is walkable! Property has plenty of free parking for your car and the accomodation should meet all your needs. Overall, a great place to stay!

One night in Biarritz. The residence is on the outskirts of Biarritz but in a great location on the coast. Local area contains some restaurants and shops. The residence itself is comfortable enough and the on site car parking was very handy. Decent outdoor swimming pool too

They mixed up and charged me at the origin in the UK and then at the destination at the hotel. It caused anxiety and inconvenience for us. Rooms could have been much cleaner. Some guests with dirty pets walking around and some loud young people, not the best place for families. Location was good.

These apartments are well situated to explore La Rochelle on foot. A ten minute walk takes you to the centre in one direction and to the marina and beaches in the other. There are so many bars, restaurants and shops to visit. Locally, there is a small supermarket to provide all you need for self catering. Truly, a perfect accommodation option.

The hotel is in a new area of La Rochelle but is very close to the modern marina and to the old city - only a short walk from each. Good self-catering option with secure parking but let down by a tiny thing: there was only a tiny amount of washing-up liquid in the kitchen for a family for a 4-day stay and we asked twice for more but none was provided. We went out to buy our own. Service otherwise was good.

I booked this because it said 4 star on the Expedia website. The accommodation is very poor. Basic beadrooms with woodchip paper, cheap thin carpets, chipboard bathrooms, a toilet which is so close to the wall that you have to sit sideways on it. Overall this is 2 star with a pool. Best avoided

outstanding welcome, helpful, friendly - great staff!!! Wish I could have stayed longer (in warmer weather) to enjoy the pool. Would recommend / go back in a heartbeat!

Room was very clean but hasn't been updated since banana bags were in fashion. Very old cabinets and bed spreads - but at this price, it fits the bill. Vast underground and outdoor parking facilities. WiFi is horrendously slow, too.

Very friendly and attentive staff and the hotel looks good from the outside and reception. Shame the room was a little shabby. The carpet was stained in numerous places and the bathroom was very dated and needed a new bath panel caused by water that drips from the shower curtain. In 2015 all hotels should really have shower screens not curtains. The room was a decent enough size.
Will I use this hotel again, probably not

Good location only a short walk into the centre of La Rochelle where, on Bastille day there was a music festival and a street market together with many other attractions. At the moment there is a lot of construction taking place around the hotel and thus the road leading to it is in a bad state of repair. The apartment we had enjoyed the benefit of a kitchen which had all the amenities you would expect and was cleaned on a daily basis. Excellent parking both on ground and underground levels. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we have had an overnight stop at this Apart/hotel whilst travelling through France.
The location is convenient, the facilities are excellent. Rooms have some self catering facilities, Fridge, Microwave, Hob etc.

I booked 2 double rooms "with balcony or terrace overlooking pool or courtyard and a bed settee". We got very basic roadside rooms overlooked by a working building site and no bed settee. - When I asked the staff if we could have what we had booked (a couple of months previously) we were informed very firmly that there was no option! Even though I had printed confirmation of our booking. This was not a good start to what turned out to be a brilliant holiday elsewhere.

Quiet. Rooms need a thorough clean in corners / paintwork. Self-catering but not all equipment available; had to ask at reception for missing items. Reception staff very welcoming/ polite/helpful. In easy reach of centre of La Rochelle.
