Great. Near ocean and town

Last minute find and it’s definitely a gem!

We went down to see Hearst Castle for the third time now and have stayed at this property twice properties. Amazing right on the beach easy and easy out easy to town the people at the hotel very nice room service excellent hotels very clean comfortable convenient to everything.

Great little spot. Very friendly. Right across the street from the beach. Clean rooms. Just a heads up, the whole town closes at about 8:30ish. At least that’s what the front seat told me.

Clean, updated hotel right across the street from Moonstone Beach. Bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful. Walking distance to a great restaurant. We’ll be back!

Renovated motel across the street from the ocean. Basic room but very nicely equipped and comfortable. Great boardwalk along the ocean gave us opportunity for nice walks.

Excellent view and relaxing courtyard

A very nice property. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The ocean view from our room was beautiful. The extra facilities looked to be plentiful and nice, though we did not use them. We appreciated the continental breakfast array.

The bed was comfy. Loved that it was right on the board walk. We just thought the price was a little high for what the room was!! But Jack, at the front desk, was great. Very helpful and friendly!! Thanks, Jack!!

My daughter stayed for her birthday and enjoyed the room the convenience of having her dog how close the beach was and the surrounding area.

We loved that Castle Inn was so clean, quiet and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The property and all the extra facilities were just wonderful. And the view of beautiful Moonstone Beach from our window was amazing. Loved it and we hope to stay there again.

Very good clean place Excellent service

Nice property. Comfortable clean neat room. Got an ocean-view which was nice. Very clean well-kept pool and jacuzzi. Right next door to the Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill - the only eatery right there on Moonstone Drive.

Staying at the Castle Inn was a joy. Super clean and tidy, recently refurbished. Saw the spouting of two whales within minutes of arriving. Breakfast was more than adequate including the self service automatic pancake maker. Will book again with no hesitation.

This was just an overnight road trip stop for us. We actually wished we had more time to relax on the property - the fire pits and common areas all looked very welcoming. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Had to check in late at a sister property but we knew that when we made the reservation so no problem there. Breakfast was good too. Would stay again.

An older motel that has been beautifully transformed into a modern boutique style inn. Beautiful views of the sea from our second floor room. Everything newly and tastefully updated and renovated. All the staff I encountered from the front desk to the maintenance guys were top notch with customer service. This place is great and I would recommend it to anyone. Oh and the bed was very comfortable!

We enjoyed the staff and the property. View of sunset nightly from Adirondack chairs was lovely and the fire pit, pool and spa were welcoming. Room was clean and bathroom updated. Beds creaked a bit , but comfy with great pillows.

Love this place. Right across the road from coastal access walk

One of the oldest properties on Moonstone Beach. Nicely updated with excellent bedding but the room AC was very noisy. Fortunate the breeze was sufficient through the windows to make it comfortable at night. Family and pet friendly. Breakfast was passable but the coffee was excellent

The actual hotel was nice enough. Me and my partner booked it because of a wedding we were attending. On the night of the wedding, we got back to the hotel pretty late and were tired and smelly, so we both took a 15 minute shower and knocked out. The next morning I get a knock on the door and it's the manager of the hotel. I thought she might have received a complaint about us showering late at night, which would have been understandable and I would have apologized. Instead she accuses me and my partner of "Partying all night" and threatens to call the police which was patently ridiculous. I explain we got back late and went straight to sleep after showering and she just says "NO, you're lying. You were up all night partying". Keep in mind that as soon as I got out of the shower my girlfriend was already fast asleep, and I fell asleep shortly after. The manager would not even consider anything we had to say.

The view if this hotel and overall area is fantastic. We love it!!

The location is amazing! You literally cross the street and you are on a path to the beach!! The staff were friendly and helpful, specifically Ramon! The only complaint I had was the walls are thin and I could hear my neighbors conversations next door and the upstairs people sounded like they were stomping until 1:30 in the morning. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would stay here again, but I would request a room upstairs!

Service was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. There’s a bar and grill within walking distance. The property faces the ocean, and you can just walk across the street to the boardwalk along the cliff. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. (A note here: Cambria is chilly even in summer so be sure to pack some warm clothes!)

Our room was spacious and appeared recently renovated. In addition, the Inn was across from the shore with direct access to the beach boardwalk. Beautiful location that we would definitely come to again!

Room and bathroom were spotless. Great spot to walk from and relax by the fire.

Well maintained, manager was very personable and helpful. Amenities were plentiful and varied. Beautiful property and well appointed. I'll be back.

This motel is completely amazing. I highly recommend this location to everybody!
