Ideal location.

No thrills, but very nice people, great breakfast, large room and great location - highly recommended.

We were very disappointed with our 2 night stay. We booked a superior room (although we may have been given an "executive" room as it had a sofa in it), and although very large, it was tatty and the decor was very tired with creaky laminate flooring. Scuff marks on the walls, curtains coming off the rail and not big enough to cover the windows. The bathroom was very small and the shower was very weak and had grubby grouting and did not feel spotlessly clean. Towels, although clean, were very thin and worn. The pillows were flat as pancakes and the duvet cover had a hole in it. We were greeted by a manager when we arrived but did not see him or any other staff for the rest of our stay. I really wanted to like this hotel - many other reviews had been glowing which is why we booked. However, there was nothing about our room that warranted the description of "Superior" or the price.

The hotel was clean and very near to sea front, shopping area and transport.

The size of the room. The view from the massive windows onto the green outside. The bathroom was bigger than some rooms i have stayed in. Very friendly guy who looked after us.

We had a nice stay. The property needs some maintainance like the paint etc and some updates here and there. (But that accounts for a lot of places in the UK). The location was great next to the beach. Bathroom and bedroom really big! Bath was nice. Bed could be better.

When taking a shower water pressure so low just a trickle of water

The hotel was perfectly positioned just off the seafront. The room was large, light, & well appointed. The bed was huge and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was great and well priced. The owner/manager was friendly, courteous and helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel with a permit provided for free. I would stay there again.

Lovely stay, clean throughout, welcoming staff and service. Will look to stay again.

When people walk upstairs in their room we can hear the noise

So many hotels in this area are of quite poor quality. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Da Vinci as it exceeded my expectations. They really have made an effort with the decor and the maintenance of the hotel which made it a very pleasant surprise for me. I will definitely return if in the area.

Hotel was quaint and near the beach/town. Room was good - clean and tidy and quiet. Would definitely visit again if on a trip to Eastbourne

Had a lovely stay at the hotel , staff efficient and v friendly Room was lovely , v large , lovely deep bath Thoroughly enjoyed the Breakfast and was v good value Would highly recommend

Interesting decor, large room with comfy bed. No reception although staff member came to the door quickly and check in went smoothly after we rang the bell outside.

An excellent hotel. Staff really helpful and good value for money. Breakfast cooked freshly for each guest that opts to buy it. Would thoroughly recommend.

Good value for our of season stay close to theatre. Good breakfast, helpful staff and yet very relaxed nature. Absolutely Loved the art gallery in reception. Good size room. Only downside is it's not on site parking as advertised - it's on street parking with a permit given by the hotel but we still had to park in another street. Wasn't wheelchair accessible despite saying lift in Accessibility criteria. Not big issue for those with limited mobility but would have been a problem for full time wheelchair user.

Room unfortunately was cold, one very small electric heater which wasn't working when we arrived. Big spacious room but uncomfortable bed, rubbish electric shower, nice complimentary tea coffee tray. Guy at breakfast was awesome and so friendly and lady who checked us in was equally as nice and helpful Breakfast is great value Unfortunately noise travels in this hotel

Great size of rooms with a lovely sea view. Parking is easy and the hotel accommodated an hour later for our check out no problem. Good location close to theatre, shops and beach! Staff friendly. Only thing to be aware of is the noise travels a lot in this hotel. Much like being at home and someone is walking up or down the stairs.

Very lovely hotel always stay here when coming to Eastbourne the only thing I would say is that the bed needs a bigger and thicker cover has it was to thin and it was a cold night

nice hotel,been here a few times,the laminated floors make whoever is in the room above sound very loud,pillows were a bit dubious,and towels could/should be bigger

Hard to find the hotel location.service is good though the toilet was stainef"P" prior i check in 🙄😬😔 the rest area of the room clean and comfy bed, good i only stay 1 night.i would say 3***

Cons ...very basic room ripped curtains damaged table shower hot but not much pressure pillows very flat bed lumpy Not fault of hotel but very noisy room next to us which ment all together very little sleep Paid £13 for 2 breakfast at 9am ...only thing that seemed fresh was egg and toast ...bacon looked like it had been there for ages dry and hard and rest was not hold Pros ..nice man on reception ...parking permit ...good location Would not stay again

Owner lovely and friendly and we slept very well. Room was spacious with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and loved the art work for sale and the common areas.. perfect touches

The art gallery is a nice touch.
