the wifi on the 5 floor cuts in and out all the time and is slow or fails to load when it drops out. makes it very hard and time consuming,
makes it hard to book transportation on the internet. the wifi on first floor works well and is faster.

Perfect location for touring. Metro station also very close breakfast was good with boiled eggs, cheese meats bread yogurt etc. not just pastries.

When I booked this hotel - which showed as an 8 out of 10 and had multiple outstanding ratings, I was pleased with the location and proximity to the metro and the vastly lesser price compared to a place in old town - where we planned to be for most of our visit. However when we arrived it felt like we were shoved in a dirty shoebox. The room looks like what was previously a bedroom that they shoved two more doors into to accommodate a bathroom and WC. The shower leaked and was VERY poorly cleaned. All of the furnishings were bottom dollar, including the towels that are obviously sourced from another hotel (because they have another hotels name on them). There was also no option to refuse housekeeping service, and the 8€+ breakfast was disappointing. A couple of pastries, bad coffee and some salami and cheese.

Very dated rooms, wallpaper coming off on walls, mouldy glass on top of wardrobe.No shower curtain.Very close to tube and 4 stops to central.

This place has so much potential. Its basically a nicer hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful. 8 euro breakfast probably not worth the cost but we took it for time saving. Its furnished as cheaply as you can get. Bathroom was great. We got plenty of towels. Brussels was in a record breaking heatwave and im american so... AC was deeply missed. Think dorm living or first apartment and you dont know how to clean stuff.

Good family room, spacious for up to 5 people. Big first bedroom and lovely smaller bedroom. There's a lift and the reception was very kind and welcoming. My kids enjoyed it.

Every piece of the room and furniture was worn-out. The towels were dirty with coloured spots. It wasn't pleasant stay as an overall impression.

the positive thing is that its near the metro station and a garden though not in the city centre and the only person i saw at the reception was fine .. breakfast was not bad

Very friendly staff.Central location but noisy next to main road.Lobby looks good, but decor decreases in quality as you go up levels.Room was comfortable but rather tired. Gaps in paint work, bed was at an angle, dirty carpet, shower head was partly broken.Breakfast room was very basic - no hot food. Although I was given complementary breakfast (a nice gesture), it would not have been worth 8 euros.Overall, OK if you are on a budget, but ironically too expensive for a budget two star hotel.

Friendly staff, convenient location outside metro station, reliable hot water in shower, bedsheets clean. The room was recently renovated but you could tell it was old - not that it mattered to us as it was just a place to rest our heads. Shampoo provided as well as soap.

Good location near the underground and tram. Nice staff. Very friendly. Very good price for area and brussels. Bathroom was dated and small but good enough for my needs. Small lift but still good enough for me.

If you need a cheap and private place to stay, it is fine. As the other reviews say, the building is extremely old inside and the rooms are therefore also extremely old, therefore its not exactly a nice place to stay. But everything in the rooms worked fine, the shower leaked a bit but I let the staff know upon my exit. There are no perks whatsoever - I had to walk several blocks to go buy a water bottle, I could not even purchase one from the hotel which was disappointing. The location is pretty good - right by a subway stop and near a big park.

The location is great for the Metro near the park and close to the European area ... the staff were very helpful .. I had my passport stolen on the metro and they were great sympathetic helping to go to police etc ... even though it’s quite a basic and old it’s clean and fine for an overnight stay on business .. simple breakfast provided too which was nice.
