Owners very friendly

Lovely and thoughtful hosts, gorgeous breezy rooms, and a beautiful natural coastal beach setting. About a half hour outside of Halifax. Best to stock up and hunker in for a peaceful retreat.

This was a very sweet place right on the beach. We were a bit chilly but loved the stay, would be so good in the summer.

We loved the view from the beach, the trails around the area and the room itself. Great amenities, great hosts, quiet, relaxing. Would love to stay here again.

The suites are located directly at the beach, are spacious and very clean. The hosts are very caring and just great. They offer complementary beach "stuff" like umbrellas, etc, and the suites have separate entrance areas and are quiet. Our suite seemed partially renovated, and very clean.

Absolutely beautiful suite. We did have what is likely the best suite “Sea Spray” but worth it. Large spacious tastefully decorated. Ocean views on 3 sides with large windows. Large deck overlooking the beach. Steps to the beautiful very private beach. Incredibly relaxing.

The room was stuffy, there's no air-conditioning, the place is very dated and needs work. To get to the beach you need to be a mountain goat to get over the rocks without breaking a ankle. Very over priced for what you get. The hot tub was incredibly hot we could barely stay in for 3 minutes.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moonlight Beach Suites. The room was spacious, clean and very well-provided for, including a very relaxing whirlpool in the bathtub. The owners were cordial, very helpful and provided useful information about the area and directions. It provided a very relaxing and quiet place to stay outside of Halifaxs bustle (about 20 minutes) but best of all it provided immediate access to a majestic beach that provided great photos, solitude and gorgeous sunsets. Users had access to a game room and walking trails. I would absolutely recommend it, particularly to travelers looking for peace and quiet amid striking vistas.

Beautiful setting on an undeveloped beach...great walking and biking trails. Very restful and comfortable accommodations.

The location was perfect if you like the sound of surf. Being a private beach, we could look out the large windows and see no-one but an occasional seal, and surfers further along the coast. Our hostess Jane was most helpful with things in the local area, and even provided a complimentary bottle of red when we asked for the nearest wine outlet!

The accommodations were somewhat disappointing. An underequipped kitchen, and overall, dated.
