Manager Kevin and his staff went above and beyond making sure I was taken care of. My trip to Hanoi had a lot of obstacles and Kevin and his staff helped me get through them all, from missed flight connections where we had to keep changing times for my airport pickup to the hotel getting information out and keeping guests safe when a typhoon hit Hanoi. 5 star operation and staff

The room I stayed in has a horrible sewage smell. The whole lobby was darkes out. The architecture is way too rustic and out of touch with the nearby hotels my friend stayed in. I would like to request for a partial refund for the suffering I went through in bearing with the sewage smell. I was too tired to try to communicate with the staff who x have poor understanding of my questions in English.

Excellent staff. Friendly and quick to help. Rooms are modern and breakfast, while limited in selection was delicious. I just wish i didnt need to pay for the gym downstairs. It should be included in the hotel price. 120k Viet Dong a day can add up quickly if your staying a while.

Room and property was clean. The staff friendly and quick to help at all times. My room was quite due to it facing the temple area and not the road. It look liked it was just renovated and fairly modern. My room have a huge window facing down into the temple. Got a few surprised look from people looking up 😆. The buffet breakfast didnt have much options but it was filling and delicous and the staff at the buffet were attentive and friendly. My only complain is that they didnt say that you have to pay to use the gym downstairs. Its called Topgun and its not owned by the hotel. You have to pay 120k Vietnamese dong to use it. Regular customer have to pay 150k so i guess thats something. Lots of food option outside as well as massage and travel agencies to book tours with. Traffic could be horrendous around the area so give yourself some time to get anywhere.

Enjoyable stay, nice staff, enjoyed the spa. All was clean. Nice to have breakfast at the hotel. Con was that while it’s convenient to be on a main road it was loud.

Good location, clean place with friendly staffs. There was an ongoing construction next building and constant noise came along, but besides that all was nice. I would def. come back and stay again.

The rooms were big. I found several hairs in my shower which was a little off putting. The area around the hotel is very active but can be very noisy. The rooftop bar was pretty but it was empty when I was there.

Overall, this hotel was great. Wonderful value for your money and comfy bed set up. Only thing is the noise level - the rooms back up right to the street, so it’s loud and not that relaxing. It’s a good trader off to be in the heart of the Old Quarter.

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by friendly staff. Mr Lu gave us some great recommendations of what to do in the city. Excellent customer service. Would recommend.

Overall the hotel was good, however if you after a quite location this is not the hotel for you. It’s in the old quarter therefore very noisy especially at weekends if you planning an early night after site seeing. However the hotel is close to some great bars, restaurants and night markets. This hotel has excellent staff, the staff make this hotel worth staying. Very helpful, friendly and approachable.

This hotel is located in Old Quarter. Lots of bars are near the hotel. My wife and I stayed in the luxury double. The room was large enough. But, the water pressure was very weak. The breakfast service was good enough. In general, everything was satisfying.

Had a great staying at MK hotel. Located centrally and great access to old town area. The staff was very helpful in organizing taxi and reserving restaurants. Special thanks to Deu and Hoan for their prompt help.

I don't know much about the standard in Vietnam. I'm basing my opinion on Thailand's hotels standard since I'm frequent visitor to Bangkok.
The staff is friendly and efficient as expected from the Asian hospitality.
The rooms I stayed in are so-so, kind of dark without much lighting, and the facilities need some upkeeping.
The best part of the hotel is the roof-top terrace but the food served is kind of limited and not the greatest
Overall, I find the hotel price a bit pricey compared to similar hotels in Thailand. ( Should note, the food is cheaper in Vietnam than Thailand)
