Leo and Angela are warm and accommodating hosts! They are always happy to help and offer individualized attention and recommendations. The balcony is a gathering place to enjoy a drink, meal, or smoke with the company of the family and other guests.

The property is in the belly of the beast so, it lends itself for an authentic Havana experience. The hosts are very hospitable and do their best to make one feel at home, they are always available and willing to help.

Leonardo and Angela were both welcoming very welcoming. It truly felt like we were staying in a warm home. Leonardo was very informative in what to to do in Havana.

The hosts were great, feiendly, and helpful. There is a verynrestaurant on the corner, snd an upscale aethestically beaitifulnplace called Michifu restaurant bar around the corner (despite rhe name is is cuban).

Leon is really friendly and the room is well equipped,air conditioning,fan ,safe quilt and towels. Leon also introduced some fantastic activities and something you have to pay attention to.I highly recommend the place and if I had chance to come to havana again,I definitely would choose here once more.thanks a lot!

Great stay. Lovely hosts, great breakfast of fruit, juice and coffee!

Stayed here for 5 nights of our 2 week holiday in Cuba. It was for us a fantastic opportunity to see the real lives of many Cuban People and we couldn't have chosen a better Casa. Leonardo and Angela are a professional couple (solicitors) and they gave us a fantastic welcome, Leonardo gives you all the advice he can to make your stay amazing. The balcony was a great place to meet other people and we shared some late nights and a drink with other couples from all over the world. Central Havana is a great place to stay with everything walkable but be prepared it is a culture shock, this is real Havana with real people struggling to survive, and it feels very unsafe at first but you soon feel at ease. There were two great restaurants within 200 meters. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable, the apartment was an oasis out of the hustle and bustle of street life and to look down on what was going on was an experience in itself. Havana was a great experience I will never forget and Leos balcony was my favorite place. If you want everything to be perfect then perhaps Cuba is not for you, but if you want to experience life and meet wonderful people Cuba is great and there is no better place to stay than at the Casa Colonial, if I could give it 6 stars I would.

Clean and friendly.

Leonardo has been very welcoming. I really loved the balconey where we took our breakfasts. It also gave me the opportunity to meet other travelers. The room was clean, towels changed at my convenience. If I have one remark to make, it’s about the breakfast itself. Don’t expect more than a few toasts, fruits, butter. There was never eggs, cheese, etc ( which are very hard to find in Cuba right now). But the coffee was good. And no real possibility to cook some lunch, as the description said (kitchen available, kitchenette or something around those words) This was a little disappointing for me since I was staying 18 days at their place, I would have loved to cook my own food, instead of always going to the restaurant. I’m just saying this because I feel the description was a little misleading. Other than that, all the family and staff were very nice.

I like staying in this stylish property with my wife and half year old baby. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend id.
