Such an amazing hotel! The work and pride that was put into the renovation and upkeep of this place blew us away. The owner and staff were so welcoming and friendly. Everything from the information, making reservations, arranging taxis, incredible breakfast and coffee! This place and the people here added so much to our first experience in Havana. This will be my place every time in this city!

Andre and his team were absolutely incredible hosts! The residence itself is beautiful inside and out - we spent a lot of time on the roof top patio, which had gorgeous views. Breakfast was amazing and every possible need/request was met. Andre arranged wonderful day tours for us, which were some of the best memories! I’m really happy I found this place for my first visit to Cuba and Habana. It was a great way to start my stay, especially getting the walking tour they provided when I first arrived, so I could get the lay of the land a little easier. I stayed for four nights and I very much hope to come back. The milieux is beautiful, not least the lovely roof terrace. The experience leaves my wanting to describe it more, but I feel I can’t do it justice with words, so I just recommend going if you get the chance.

As a solo female traveller, I will forever be disgusted by the actions of Andre, Sandy and their employees. I booked here, despite it being costlier, as I wanted a personal touch. I did not get that. Andre was controlling, passive-aggressive and hostile to the point that I would only interact with him as needed. They charge way more than the going rate for taxis and tours. Airport pickup is 70 euros, double the usual cost. Their classic car tour is not better, other companies provide an actual tour guide along with a driver at the price they charge. The driver provided by them was rude and unprofessional. He took calls, listened to and replied to voice-notes whilst ignoring me. He also shouted at a homeless woman who asked him for money. I told Andre about this and he accepted the driver’s lies and didn’t offer a compensatory tour. Whilst unwell, I was treated badly by them. I had an awful headache, amongst other symptoms so I made a reasonable request to turn down the loud music played during breakfast. The owner's response was to not only refuse but turn the volume up even though I was the only person in the restaurant and also shout at me. He then cancelled the late check-in agreed - which I needed as I was unwell. At this point I decided to leave before check-out as I no longer felt safe or welcome. After leaving, I got an email from them full of false accusations & threats. I have travelled globally and NEVER experienced such awful behaviour so cannot ever recommend.

An artful and comfortable boutique hotel in the heart of Old Havana. Delicious breakfast with the best coffee and fresh juices. The hotel’s art tour gave us access to some of Cuba’s best contemporary artists in their studios and homes. An unforgettable experience all around. We will be back.

Andre and Sandy were amazing! Their property was beautiful so close to everything. Every aspect of our trip was so thought out — from breakfast to their recommendations and assisting us with dinner reservations and more, they were fantastic. The design throughout was also stunning. They clearly harnessed the beauty of the building and updated it was gorgeous modern touches. We wish we could replicate this hotel throughout the world!

Our stay with Andre and the team was the best experience we’ve had with any hotel in the world because of the service and care we received. A special thank you for the time you took to explain to us about Havana and what to expect from our time there. The restaurant recommendations were spot on as well. Every member of staff were polite and courteous. Our room was upgraded and the quality was second to none. We were made to feel valued and that nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to telling us a bit more about Havana and Cuban people, we fell in love will be recommending for sure. Thank you for a great stay. 10/10.

Excellent stay in renowned UNESCO world heritage site Old Havana. The property is fantastic with hands on mgmt who offer a lot of info and support during check in. The area is very safe and interesting - we walked the area for three days and it never got boring. I will return for an upcoming photography art project and I know I will book this accommodation again. An excellent, spirited, caring establishment. Great staff, accommodations, food, and coffee. Felt like home! A

We stayed at AS Boutique residence and were amazed by the design, beautiful atmosphere and the best service from Andre. He gave us a lot of good recommandations for what to do and restaurants/bars etc, and made us feel really welcome. The hotel kafe was definitely worth the visit, food and coffee delicious and one of us are still trying to redo the pancakes at home.. Everyone that worked there was really welcoming. If you are going to Havana, you should absolutly experience this place!

Andrè was an an exceptionally friendly, helpful and informative host who made us feel very welcome. Staff that we met at breakfast ( Alex & Abraham) made us smile with their friendly banter and delicious smoothies.Our suite was also divine!

Modern room with all the facilities. Comfortable mattress led to amazing sleep. Hosts were fantastic suggesting and booking fab restaurants. Fantastic breakfast included with three different options. Be aware, there is a metal staircase to the mezzanine bed which may be a chalkenge

From the moment Sandy greeted us and welcomed us with a delicious coffee, we were charmed. The hotel is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. The decor is very cool and the vibe is relaxed and friendly. The breakfasts are delicious. Our ground floor suite was fab. Sandy gave us some excellent advice and recommendations; we had a great stay. Would highly recommend.

I can't recommend this property enough! Excellent location, walking distance from Obispo. The property itself is just amazing. Breathtaking design and feels luxurious. Andre, the owner, was incredibly attentive and always on hand to provide advice or help with any requests including recommending places to visit or places to eat. All the staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent too. If you want to stay in the heart of Old Havana then you won't find a better place to stay than AS Boutique. Actually, you'll struggle to find a better place in the whole of Havana!

AS residence is such a beautiful hotel. The esthetics is amazing. The owner Andre was phenomenally generous with his time and dining recommendations. The rooftop terrace for sunsets was so wonderful. A glass of wine served made viewing sunsets magical. The closeness to old Havana made walking everywhere easy. We will definitely come back. Thank you Andre for such wonderful service.

The best private accomodation you will find online for Old Havana. This place was very well renovated with travelers in mind. It's clean, comfortable, the hosts are very attentive.

Beautifully renovated in traditional Cuban architectural style, all comforts provided. The owners and staff are friendly and knowledgable and provide helpful local advice. A simple but beautifully prepared, fresh breakfast is also provided.

We had a very good stay at this property. This was our first ever visit to Cuba, and there is a learning curve for Cuba that may be different for other places and our hosts here helped us to become acclimated to that before we even got there, so we somewhat knew what to expect. The residence is exactly as pictured in the photos and very walkable to a lot of hotspots within Old Havana, definitely recommend this place for first time visitors.
