Beautiful place, however it was under full renovation in the rooms. The hall was freshly painted and VOC was very high and my eyes and nose watered every time I came back. Service men were in all elevators with debris and dust all over the elevator and floor, my phone didn't work I asked 4 times it was never fixed. Banging started at 9 AM sharp by workmen next to my room. I'm looking forward to returning when the renovations are complete. The location pool spa and sun deck were perfect! A definate must stay but be prepared to compromise. Oh the pillows of cut mem foam was auwful,, not 1 of 8 pillows were right. The gift shop was the highlight of my stay there,, wonderful staff and pricing. Dunkins across the street along with Winn Dixie, $20/night to park across the street is a rip off,, but typical + valet if you want to use the Parking lot + tip every time. I parked in free parking on the street! Ha! I reccomend this marble palace,, but if in the next 12 months be prepared for the construction.

Had to move mid stay because the hotel wanted to do remodel work in our room. They would not honor any requests for location placement. The hotel was at a very low occupancy level due to time of year and inclement weather. They still would not honor a different location. We were placed directly above the room we had to move from. So we got to hear the construction sounds from the room below constantly throughout our stay. No type of compensation was offered for our trouble or the disruption to our vacation. We paid for their “premium” renovated room.

We were staying due to Hurricane Milton. The room was very nice. I was upset due to the circumstances. The front desk staff was not helpful or concerned at all about guests that may have been displaced due to the hurricane. They did not give helpful information about the resort, what they offered or where things were located. The desk staff acted annoyed that I even asked how to get to my room. I did not find any of the staff either friendly or helpful except the valet staff.

had an issue with biting insects in our room and noise from construction. The concierge said he would have the room fully inspected and cleaned while we were out. This didn't happen, but we were graciously given another room at our request. The restaurant on the property is overly priced and the menu was somewhat boring, so we were inclined to eat out. We were also told there was a "one time" fee of $20 for parking during our stay' which I had the front desk repeat verbally. The fee for parking was $20 a day, which is typical, so I wrote this one off as a communication error. The concierge was of little help in navigating local dining spots, referring to pamphlets at his kiosk for ideas? Overall, I give this resort, and my experience, 3 STARS.out of 5

Construction every morning at 8AM. old bed ,could feel every spring in our backs. Bugs on the ceiling of the shower. Staff was nice, valet was nice.

I chose the Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort primarily for its location, and in that regard, it gets a 5-star rating from me. The convenience of walking right onto the beach was perfect for my layover. However, the hotel itself needs some care—it’s definitely dated in many aspects.
Upon arrival, my first impression was that of a money grab. I was offered an ocean view for an additional $100, which felt unnecessary. Many amenities, like certain chairs inside the hotel, mini golf, and parking, come with extra fees. Although parking was included with my Expedia booking, it was frustrating to find out that I had to park across the street while the valet service took the better spots on the hotel grounds. Even though we paid for parking, we were relegated to less convenient spaces.
If you don’t mind dated facilities and extra charges, this hotel is very well-located. But for those who value convenience and a more modern feel, you might want to consider other options.

Everything was amazing except the construction being done on my side in the building. I wish my room wasn’t right below their site. We couldn’t sleep in past 8am or have a mini afternoon rest due to the banging. Other than that I recommend this place.
