The hotel has nice restaurants with a good diversity and facing the beach. The room is big, the washroom is clean but the air conditioner is set to one temperature.

It was nice and relaxing staff helped with all excursion and last minute planning. Pictures of resort are reality no surprise miss haps or unexpected conditions.

Good food. Not a lot of dining options but the food was very good.
They had 2 levels of stay. The premium gave you nicer rooms and premium alcohol. And a few other perks. We didn’t have premium but still very much enjoyed our stay. Alcohol is fairly watered down but you get that with every all inclusive.
The staff was fabulous.

Had a great time. Beautiful weather. Friendly staff.

Loved our stay at Meliá. Stayed in the Level class and loved the Bali beds and beach service. Food was above average. Soft walk in sand beach, water not as turquoise blue, but still clear. We will return.
4.0
The area around fish restaurant was dirty.
Otherwise it was clean.
We couldn’t get some drinks and chicken wings because we wore green bracelets, second category tourist :)

Beach area was nice. The shoreline next to the resort was not good for snorkeling though. No coral or rocks, just sand and seaweed.
The staff was very friendly. We felt very safe.
We wish there would have been more communication on the available amenities. We kind of had to search them all out on our own.
5.0
The property is a little insulated but inside the property you have everything you need to have a good vacation.
Their attention, the beach and the restaurants are very good in this property You can stay there and you don’t need to go out for anything.

A lot of the amenities were closed on various days for renovating. The only restaurants included with the all inclusive are the buffet and the snack bar but the snack bar was closed for most of the time we were there… and the buffet food was okay. The other restaurants you had to pay extra for. Which it was much better to just leave the resort and go to a local place for better food and service. They wanted us to upgrade again past what we had already paid for the “level” service which included a better view and the cabanas to rest on the beach pretty much. I don’t think it’s worth it to do that. The tours you can take are great and you can rent a car for a good price and explore yourself. That was the best part. Also at the bars make sure to ask for double shots because they are pretty light handed. Most of the staff was very friendly.

Amazing stay! Would return here again

This property has it all. Wonderful Views, Nice Rooms, and awesome staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aug '24 and will definitely return again. Food quality, quantity and choices are just fantastic and the waitstaff are incredibly attentive and helpful

The staff here were all pretty awesome with a few notable people who went above and beyond. Christian was one our waiters and and was very attentive and informative, he even went so far as set up a tequila and mezcal tasting for us. Best waiter I've had anywhere in a very long time. Santiago was our liason and had all of personal needs taken care of and was always reachable via phone.
The facilities were all perfectly nice. Nothing mi d blowing, but everything at the very least met my expectations. Also as a side, do not listen to anyone who complains about the ac leaking. There are signs up in the room that state if doors are left open to long the ac will drip because of the high humidity.
The food was all pretty good. I did not get a single food item i was unhappy with. The 2 restaurants are fantastic. Fish house has great seafood, and molé has exceptional mexican cuisine.
The drinks were stock standard resort fair. Nothing fancy, but it's as much as you want, so can't really complain.
The beach here is awesome, but to get clear water you have to walk down the beach to next hotel which has a concrete pier built to keep seaweed out. Not a big deal though as all you have to do is walk 2 minutes down the beach to get there.
Tldr: great all inclusive, would recommend going in the off season of june-aug as it's not super busy and you aren't fighting any crowds.

Staff was excellent, the property needs some updates, especially to the rooms on the garden side, and this area can be noisy as it overlooks the children’s pool . Food was okay… the Fish house was excellent, however daily Buffett is basically the same each day.

I liked the property a lot. I had a very humid room that was 23 Celsius and had water dripping from the ceiling. They looked at it three times. Other guests say they had no problems. The offered a two night voucher for our experience. Which was very nice. This is my second stay and I will be back. I liked the food and cleanliness

The water at the beach on the property is mainly brown but a little further to the left in front of another hotel it is clear green and lovely. The food was just ok. The room was not ready at 3pm for check-in but at 4. Compared to other All inclusive hotels in the world, the staff does not offer you & bring you drinks by the pool or beach unless you are a priority member, you have to get them yourself by the pool bar. They only offer wings to priority members. That should be standard for everyone. They seem to only clean the room if you put a sign on the door to ask them to but they don’t tell you that upon checking in. The property overall is nice, although fairly small. Staff is pleasant & helpful.

We were a group of 6 with 3 paid rooms. Upon arrival each room had a must smell. After back and forth with the front desk person we were moved to other rooms which included us paying an upgrade charge. The rooms were better but definitely needed a deep cleaning especially behind the toilet and the couch in the room had lots of stains as did a lot of the furniture in the lobby area. The buffet was extremely limited in choices for breakfast lunch and dinner. The two restaurants on site were just ok and you had to make reservations for both. They have done some renovations but some rooms have not been updated in a while. If you decide to stay at this resort request your room to be on the Level side. It comes with some perks. I don't think I would stay at this resort again unless they did a complete renovation and updated their food choices

Melia Cozumel was a great choice for my family. The rooms were clean daily, the buffet options were excellent. The dinning restaurants were intimate and the food was delicious. The staff was very professional, hard working and they keep the place running smoothly.

Stayed there with my family for 6 nights.
Nice beautiful and clean rooms, good beach area.
The hotel itself needs some updates, especially the ceiling of reception area. It had limited food selections, freshly squeezed juices only couple days a week, more salad would also be wonderful.
Nice staff, all super helpful except the towel boy Ernesto who would only give 1 towel per day per guest even if the towels were wet after rain or we accidentally lost it. Nice entertainment at night - Abril was wonderful.
3 or 4 days out of 6 days there the red flag was up at the beach (swimming is not allowed) because a crocodile was swimming in the shallow water at the beach. We were told that it happened because of the hurricane - the crocodile got confused between fresh and salty water.
Overall okay but probably won’t be back.

Great staff and great food. I would go again.

Everything on the property was good for the most part, just walking off was a little dirty and abandoned buildings. Nothing too bad. Maybe get better transportation services such as bikes, mopeds. Taxis were a little expensive.

Had a blast, we had no problems at all. Food was decent, beach is fantastic, pools were nice. Id go back

I'm truly disappointed. Hurricane Baryl was approaching at the same time we were supposed to go on vacation. Flights were cancelled and I tried several times, along with hotels.com, to change dates. Melia Cozumel All Inclusive was not considerate of the situation.

Garden view rooms it’s very noisy music in the afternoon… since loudspeakers are pointing towards the pool you get to hear all the bass coming out of the loudspeakers back which usually sound horrible.. do not recommend these rooms if you like to sleep the siesta

Food was exceptional the staff was very polite and professional. Would definitely recommend.

The resort was beautiful and all the employees were very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was when we checked in they didn’t explain the different levels of the bracelets. To where we were wearing the white bracelets and that meant we would get premium liquor luckily we only found out a day and a half after being there. They should definitely explain that to all their guests since we do pay for it ahead in our package.

Very wonderful had an amazing stay

Despite a hurricane coming, they kept our reservation and we felt assured in our safety. The manager personally came by and spoke to all of us. The same could not be said for the Cozumel Palace, who would not let me and my two little daughters in the door 2 hours prior. Nor could be the same said for the Occidental, who wouldnt let us in at the gate in the rain to complete our reservation in person after I called.
Meliã, I will definitely return, hurricane or not!

We had a wonderful time at the Melia for our vacation. Our concierge, Alfonso, was so helpful and amazing. He made our stay extra special. We’ve been coming to Cozumel for years, but this was our first stay at Melia and we will definitely be back.

The food is horrible.

The hotel is small enough to feel relaxed. We had the Level experience which was very attentive and the staff were very friendly and efficient

Our hotel room had roaches, the shower smells like mold and moth balls it was hard to even shower inhaling it. The hotel only had one restaurant/ buffet at night to eat from that you don’t need a reservation, in order to make reservations you have to stay 3 or more nights. The food was not that great. The golf had a ton of ants so beware taking the little ones out. The beach was very convenient and beautiful especially if you keep walking down past the pier. The service was amazing and had very friendly staff.
