Really good place to stay. Good breakfast, clean staff really nice and friendly. I will stay at this location again. Public transportation close and London Gatwing airport really close.

The WiFi was not connecting from 10pm yesterday night. That was frustrating. We had to use our phone data. Aside that, the service was okay. The breakfast was good.

The hotel was a wonderful and positive surprise. It was super convenient considering we were travelling to/from Gatwick, and it was also only a short train ride from the city centre. The room was spacious enough for our family of four, with a good sized bathroom. It was also very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very good. The only fault I could point was that one elevator (out of only two) was out of order during the 5 days we were there, which made the waiting a bit longer than expected (we were on the 8th floor). Also, we had no hot water one evening, but I didn't report it and it was fixed the following morning.

The hotel were adamant there was no parking spaces due to construction then all of a sudden people had parked there?! Then the room had a table in there but no chair? I asked if I can use a chair from the dining area I was told I have to get it myself and bring it back. In checkout a lady was being told oh madam everything is ok, if you need any chairs we will bring them to you however many you want. The lady saying this sounded Easten European, apologies im of wrong. I’d like to know where this politeness and level or service was when I requested one chair to do my makeup.
Also I asked if I could borrow their microwave to heat something, I was told they don’t have one by 4 people yet the same day in the evening my partner came down and he was able to use the microwave? Your customer service leaves much to be desired!
We will not even begin to mention the nonsense that happens out the front of the hotel, sounds like screaming banshees. Never again

I came from a longer journey in Somerset and was returning to Scandinavia. I wanted to be close to the airport to catch my flight the following morning. The area around the hotel isn’t very inspiring but the hotel itself is a good experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations. Short walk to the train station with swift connections to Gatwick Airport. Would be happy to stay here again.

Hotel was very good usual expected standards of Holiday Inn Express.
However stay was tainted a bit by how noisy other guests were in the night and early morning in corridors, no care on shutting doors carefully, and very loud conversations. No consideration!
Maybe I was just unlucky!

Hotel was clean and inviting. Rooms were lovely and beds were comfortable but the heating systems is terrible. Very cold in the rooms. Breakfast was very good

Really enjoyed the stay at Holiday Inn at Croydon. We had arrived much earlier than the check in time - in view to leave our baggage. We were pleasantly surprised by front desk staff (Ali) who kindly accomodated us and checked us in as there was a room available. After the flight to London, this was really a welcoming gesture. Overall, good and quiet room with a view, great breakfast and very courteous staff.

Booked a room for 4 people. The room given did not have space for 4 people and staff did very little to help the situation. Made for a very uncomfortable stay.

The facilities and cleanliness were all very good. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was generous and provided plenty of choice. The location is someway out of the centre of London but still accessible by train. The hotel is close to local amenities for food and supplies.

The website offers parking but when you get there you’re told there is limited parking, meaning the 3 spaces that is used by the staff??

Generally, the property was wonderful and the staff were very professional in attending to guests. One other thing, the breastfast was fantastic.

The breakfast was very simple. The staff was very very nice and always willing to help. The general upkeep of the property was excellent. Very clean. Also it’s walking distance to food and shopping. I will be back in a couple months.

The best asset of this hotel is the staff- particularly Nicky who greets everyone at breakfast as though they are her personal guests. Good location for links to central London.

It was an ok stay for the weekend, the only thing is that the hotel was on a side street as if deliveries could be made to stores which I did not like and there was not sufficient parking, it was on a first come first serve basis (6 bays). They did have some drilling going on in the hotel which I found quite inappropriate especially if you are a paying guest. overall the staff were very nice and so was the breakfast.
