From the moment we walked into the doors we felt like “this is going to be great!” The hotel smelled amazing with different smells throughout. The lobby was spacious and cool during the hot weather. The breakfast and breakfast staff were awesome, making cappuccinos and espresso for us. The elevator is a little sketchy and the hotel can feel a little like a maze at times. The hotel is on the skirts of a main plaza and every night we were serenaded by local musicians. This also meant it could be a little loud from the crowds but with white noise we had no issues with the noise

Breakfast was excellent. A great assortment of food and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and air conditioned. Great location, close to train station and all tourist attractions.

It was nice and cozy. Free coffee and water daily. Would book here again for next time.

Loved this central location to tour meeting locations, museums, sites, dining, and shopping. Would choose this hotel again and again. Included breakfast options and secured access exceeded our expectations. Room was small but clean, modern, and well-serviced.

Wonderful centrally located hotel, everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. Excellent breakfast provided, staff were courteous and super efficient. Highly recommend this hotel as a base in Florence.

Very easy to move around

Room was spacious and clean but the tine shower size is just ridiculous even for hotels in Italy. It’s literally a 24”x24” box. Service staff were great but the front desk guy wasn’t having a great day I guess.

I really liked the conveniently located hotel. 5 minutes walking from Train and 10 minutes to Dome and Ponte Vecchio. Staff in Front Desk, Restaurant, Bar, Housekeepers were very Nice. Breakfast was very good. Capuchinos Great. Highlight recomendó Rosso 23.

The hotel had an amazing position directly next to Santa Novella Maria, which was so lovely. (You must visit). The reception staff were wonderfully helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Their morning cappuccino was particularly enjoyable (no extra charge) and they even had almond milk. If you need gluten free products, just ask and they bring a little basket with a selection. The room had everything we needed and was super spacious. Water is replaced daily in the room. And the towels were super fluffy. They even had dressing gowns and slippers. Room service was excellent. Take ear plugs for a restful night, as the hotel is above restaurants and the busy square, with the occasional ambulance siren too. There is a super quirky lounge area, with a Bar from 5.30pm. You’re also right in the hub of things, with restaurants close by and a couple of minutes to the tram. This hotel is in close walking distance to the river and all of the main sights. Highly recommended. We struggled to find the hotel as they don’t have a large sign outside. So if you come into the square, with the Novella Maria church on your right, the restaurants on your left. The hotel is also on the left, with the entrance between the restaurants. Look for a number 21 and you’ll see the stone steps inside a doorway and a standing sign “Hotel Garibaldi Blue Rosso 23” Enjoy the street music and the lovely sunset too.

This hotel is nice.the only thing I have a complaint was the noise bar underneath the hotel that kept loud noise until late night. But excellent location to everything. Breakfast was great. Bathroom needs some upgrades but clean.

Very conveniently placed , near the tram stop from the airport, overlooking the Piazza and about 10-15 minutes walk from all the main attractions, yet very quiet. The city view room was worth the extra.

This hotel is right near the train and a short walk to many of the sites. The check in was very easy and the room very clean. As with most hotels in Europe, the rooms are small but not too small. The lift however, is very small, two people who know each other are ok, but two couples would be an experience. The downstairs bar is "ok" by local standards and there are a lot of dining options on the piazza and near by. We had a great stay and would recommend this to everyone.

Very elegant, especially for the price. Staff could not do enough for us. Very helpful with directions and getting s taxi's we could trust. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable and clean. A/C worked. Staff respected the "Do Not Disturb" sign.

Great location, super clean and comfortable. Shower is comically small even for me and I’m on the small side. I can see how this would be an issue for larger people. Lobby is quirky and fun. My room sadly did not face the piazza but it did have a courtyard view and a sunny little patio which was nice and also ensured that it was very quiet all night. Would stay here again.

Overall, a very good hotel. However, the bathroom set up was terrible. Shower is in the middle with a curtain around it so every time you use it, water goes all over the floor, it really creates an unnecessary mess other than that the entire hotel and staff and breakfast were all very excellent.

The only good thing about this hotel is their kind staff. It’s a very old building with incredibly difficult way to get to the rooms (many stairs); with very small and dark rooms
