Good property

I don't like the fact that they offer incomplete amenities such as Nespresso machine and electric stove. What's the point of having those if they don't offer the coffee pods or kitchenware?

The hotel is nice, but it is not related to the price I had a problem with the reservation and despite sending mail and calling by phone I did not answer. I do not recommend the Hotel because of the bad attention of the Sr. L.Villegas. If you can a good attention and help during your stay in Santiago choice other Hotel.

You must check in at a different location. They are the only ones that will help you with any issues. And the bathtubs curved, so you better have good balance.

I first stayed at this property January 2016 and was very impressed. Based on this experience, I have since stayed 10-20 nights each year between 2017 and 2019, and booked other business companions also. I am moved to finally review the Time Select, as I think I have stayed here for the last time these past few days. I would rank the overall positives of this good value property over the years as follows: 1. Excellent bed/linen/pillow/sleep experience. 2. Location 3. Self containment, mini-apartment style, can do own cooking. 4. Nespreso machine. 5. Usually spacious rooms per category. 6. Accesible Parking 7. Decent breakfast buffet at the Rugendas up the street. I would say the quality of experience has been on a slow decline over the four years I have been a guest (failed coffee machines, missing kitchen stuff...) but usually good staff willing to solve problems. These issues not to say it didn't still represent good value. Can't stay any more because reception has been centralised at Time Suites affiliate property some 200m up the road. I arrived by car, had to park at Suites, check in, go park again at Select. To check out, had to go with bags to Suites again. Just not SELECT any more. Prices have been much cheaper of late, thought due to problems in Chile, but perhaps new vision? Now who will change out my broken nespreso?

Very nice and area in the city close enough to walk to things but tucked away enough to get some rest and enjoy the neighborhoods

Excellent staff. Most could speak English quite well and offered to help us any way they could. Hotel location private, quiet and just close enough to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely return. Only complaint is pool chairs, they need a few more.

The hotel was excellent. The staff very friendly and attentive and the hotel location was the best!! The only drawback was that the breakfast was in their sister hotel located on the corner from Time Select.

The hotel was well located in a safe and quite area great for walking. The hotel condition was good as was the breakfast. Overall a good value in Santiago.

Time Select is a wonderful place to stay in Santiago. It’s a sleek, contemporary designed hotel on a quiet, tree-lined street, close to restaurants, shops and galleries. The hotel has everything you could want in apartment-style rooms which include kitchenette with frig, freezer, microwave, cooktop, dishes and cutlery. There is a nice sitting area and full bath with both shower and tub. Our room was in impeccable condition and beautiful. The hotel has a nice rooftop pool and there is a gym in the lower level. Breakfast at a nearby restaurant was included and was a wonderful spread of hot and cold offerings—very good. Great value in a great part of Santiago!

I prefer small hotels with friendly staff that make you feel part of the family.

When I booked the hotel, the condition was that the payment will be charged when I check in or check out. However, I got a confirmation from my bank that my funds were frozen by the hotel few days before my reservation date. When I came to the hotel, they said that it was a warranty in case of no-show (in the amount of the first night plus taxes, although as a foreigner I should not pay taxes in Chile). Then "as per the hotel policy" they charged me in full for my whole stay (for two nights) - again "as a warranty", despite that they already had the warranty for more than one night. When I checked out, they confirmed the payment for two nights, however, I still see that the first money that they froze is still not available for me to use one week after I checked out. If they do not trust their customers, then they should just ask for a payment in advance and do not state that they charge you at check-out, becuase now I still cannot use my money even after I have paid the full amount of my stay. Completely unacceptable attutude.

It was a work trip. I changed rooms because sounds of vibration were coming from the wall, but I came to find out that this sound was in the next room as well. I was told the sound is normal, I suspect it to be water pumps. I just wished they didn't turn on in the middle of the night. I had a bit of trouble convincing the staff that I get an upgrade because of my Expedia status and the VIP+. All was worked out. I recommend the front side of the building for better wifi access. It was within easy walking distance to everything including the mall. Breakfast is served in a separate building and requires a 1 minute walk in the morning.

The reception staff never acknowledged me when I walked into the hotel and I stay here for half a month. Given the cost of the hotel, the reception staff should be more courteous to ALL guests. I noticed they were to a couple. Racial background should never be taken into account when addressing any guests. I would not stay here again.

Clean modern hotel in a leafy quiet street. Staff organised a transfer to Valparaiso by private car and were very helpful during our three night stay.

Booked Time Select after an exhausting hotel search of Santiago for 4 nights. Glad I booked Time Select. Arrives close to midnight due to flight time, and very impressed with Guillerme? at front desk - very engaging, excellent English and very welcoming. Also Nestor? - extremely helpful and very accommodating when needing local assistance with transport, sites etc Property is of great quality, and very quiet and upmarket location, within easy reach of the subway, malls and key city locations. Rooms of great quality although few (very) minor irritations with the design of the room. Not enough accessible power sockets in usable locations, design of bathroom - toilet specifically - far too close to the wall and very tight leg space! Housekeeping were a little frustrating, although cleanliness was excellent, they disposed of bags and paper which were not in the rubbish bin, and certainly were not looking like rubbish either! They also didn't replenish tissue which we felt was strange! Continual Breakfast idea in the room is great, and gives great flexibility - would be quite nice to have some sweat pastries rather than the same read rolls every day, but otherwise no complaints. Pool was closed which was a shame. Would return and recommend no problem.
