Stayed in the front room of the B&B (No 1). Nice location close to the Art Gallery, and not too far to walk into the CBD. Room was good, fitted out as a disabled room, which may or may not be a preference. Staff were friendly and allowed us to store our baggage both before and after the stay for flights, however required a phone call as they hadn't replied to two emails. The breakfast was good, options both continental and cooked. Unfortunately there is construction going on next door, from around 7-4 so noise from there. However the front desk is right outside the door, and the window opens on to the driveway, so there is very little feeling of privacy, and you could hear conversations quite clearly. We requested a change of room but unfortunately it was not available. Information in the room folder dated from 2012, so needs an update. A different room may have been a different experience.

Lovely place to stay, quiet, comfortable and very close to the city centre. The owners were very attentive and made sure we had an early continental breakfast available before left for our flight.
The only thing that wasn't clear was the advertised laundry facilities - there are none and your washing is sent out in a bag to a laundry service. We were able to work around it but a little misleading. Even with that knowledge we would happily stay there again.

This was a lovely B n B with a comfortable lounge area and a cafe room supplying a more than adequate breakfast. Our hosts were wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay.

The Grange was just ok. It was centrally located to the tourist area, which was nice, but that is about where it ends. The room was ok, but not very comfortable and the breakfast was minimal at best. Overall, I would recommend staying somewhere else when visiting Christchurch.

We enjoyed our brief one-night stay at the Boutique Grange B&B. The room was spacious with a large clean bathroom. The antique furniture was charming and the beds comfortable. Parking was tight but convenient. There was a nice little breakfast with both continental and hot options.

Check in was very easy. Our accommodations very nice, king bed. The bed was very comfortable. Sheets were new and very comfortable. Pillows were nice. The bathroom was fabulous. Shower pressure Excellent! The breakfast was really really good. Made to order best orange juice ever. Free parking. Air-conditioning. Quite. The owners were so nice and accommodating. I would stay here again and I would recommend highly.

Nice, clean spacious room with lovely mixture of old and modern furnishings, comfortable bed and good shower. Quiet location with adequate parking. Short walk to the Botanic Gardens. Continental and cooked Breakfast available. Ideal for a one night stay.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Excellent location, super clean and spacious room, air conditioning great for a hot evening, very quiet location yet extremely central to town and Hagley Park. We heard none of the other guests so walls clearly well insulated in such a beautiful historical property. Very friendly staff who showed pride in their business-the included full breakfast was a lovely homely touch for their guests and a great way to start the day. George cooks a fantastic breakfast-eggs cooked to perfection! Will return for future business & private stays in Christchurch.

Easy check in. We arrived very late after midnight but we could get in easily. Room was comfy, small but adequate. Bathroom clean. Breakfast is not a priority for me but I could see that it was decent and a hot brekky could be provided. Location was central. Staff friendly.

We were charged $20 each for two teens, but only had two towels in the room. It was late in the evening when we found the issue, so we didn’t ask the owner who didn’t appear to be on site. The 150 year old property kinda smelled that’s not entirely pleasant but you got used to it after a while. The location is excellent and the owner gave some good tips.

Very happy with the reception received. Breakfast very basic. We were surprised the rooms were not serviced. Beds not made up daily which we have never experienced at a Bed and Breakfast establishment. The owners were delightful. Overall a reasonable stay.

This property is fairly well situated in Christchurch, and it had some parking available. The building is interesting. Our room was very large, but the door opened directly onto the foyer, which meant not only you got loudness from people checking in or out, but also you couldn't open the door without having a direct line of sight right into your bedroom from the most public part of the house.

Great B & B. Good location and despite being on what looks like a busy main road it was really quiet at night.
Main things for me are a comfy bed, good shower, quiet and within walking distance of the sights. It ticked all my boxes. Would highly recommend staying here.
