Although our room first appeared clean we soon discovered the level of cleanliness was only superficial. The public areas like hallway's, lifts and entry areas definitely indicated they were not regularly cleaned. The deck on Level 3 had an overflowing rubbish bin as was every ashtray. On a plus the room was quiet, had opening windows and the air conditioning and washer dryer worked well.

Our plane was cancelled and we informed Expedia that we would arrive one day later. Eventually we got refund of one night, and early check-in for free, which is very good.
The apartment is clean and spacious, and there are sufficient washing tablets provided for washing machine and dish washer. There are also sufficient utensils for cooking. The location is good as it is only a few minute walk to the shopping mall.
I hope that the window blinds can be changed to keep the bedrooms dark during day time, and more towel racks can be provided in the toilets for hanging hand towels and face towels. Furthermore, more space should be provided to place soap and shampoo in the shower/bathing compartment.

Had a great 2 night stay at House of Fisher. The staff were exceedingly helpful in recommending interesting places to visit.

Perfect location in Reading. Short walk to the town center, shopping, dining and the train station. The apartment was nice but was in need of some maintenance. Definitely above average compared to other locations at the same price.

I visited my daughter who is a student at the University of Reading. After our day trips, House of Fisher was the perfect place to rest my aching feet and get ready for the next adventure. It is clean, comfortable and has everything one needs.The location was perfect. I will definitely stay there again.

Very friendly front desk staff. The room was a bit light in the morning with the sun coming through the blinds but the apartment was very good and I will definitely stay again. Recommended to other colleagues already

Near to railway station, high street and shopping area. Reception staff is helpful with smiling face, clean room with lot of space. Only one small thing is inside the bathing area there is no holder for a bottle of liquid soap and hair wash.

Very bad experience. Arrived and elevators weren't working so had to take luggage up four flights of stairs. Arrived back at 12:15 am one night and key didn't work, and nobody was at the front desk so I couldn't get in to go to bed. Tried calling a phone number on a placard on the desk that I could barely make out - but no one answered. Had to go to another hotel to get a room and sleep.

I like the space and location, it spacious and convenient, just if you still there longer, the condition inside are good, but when you stay there more than a week or up to, most of the things you need to refill by yourself. if they advise when the time I move in, I will be fine for that, sometimes you missing somethings and ask for help and they advise you should get it yourself that seem quite bad feeling....

Air con (warm air) did not work well on first night but a covertor heater had been arranged to my room immediately. Dusty duster not work well and then a new one replacement very soon.

My room was spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen. The friendly staff was available to answer my questions (and help order a taxi!) 24/7. There were plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.

I use 100 kings road a lot for work. They are the best apartments in reading in my experience. The rooms are well equipped and the Breakfast cereal and snacks are a nice bonus.
Some Rooms are better than others. The rear facing rooms are a little quieter. I have had a few times where the rooms has noise fans, or slightly odd smells. But overall, i would recommend it.
