This hotel is amazing. It’s greatly located near the grand Canal, Rialto Bridge, and a great view of Zilio Cathedral. Very close to the square all kinds of shopping closed food restaurants everything perfect hotel the room is fabulous. It’s big is amazing and the people the staff are so friendly and they accommodate and set up any kind of transfers. It’s just wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel I reserved a junior triple suite. I give five stars.

Hotel is well maintained and the location is close to everything. Staff are professional and helpful. Room was a good size with a big bathroom. Very clean rooms with the house keeping services daily. There is no concierge on site. Breakfast was a standard European buffet. Hotel is easily reached by a water taxi from the airport or from the train station.

Less than 5 minutes from Grand Canale, awesome rooftop bar, excellent breakfast buffet with GF options, concierge service. Provided free water taxi to Murano and excellent restaurant recs.

The hotel is in a very convenient location around transportation, dining and shopping. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated, and the rooms are decent. The breakfast at the hotel is nice /fresh food and there is a rooftop bar for snacks and drinks. The hotel manager is super nice and welcoming and so as the staff. We enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect location, friendly, clean, attractive room, comfortable

The staff was one of the best professional I have ever dealt with in Europe. Fredrick and Michael are the two I dealt with most, can't say enough about both of these exceptional hospitality professionals.

Love the proximity of the hotel to Rialto Bridge and the water taxi station. We walked to most of the important spots and plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful trip.

Room looked bigger in pictures. They called it a Suite but the King and Queen beds took up all the floor space; barely enough room to get to the bathroom. Lots of room in the bathroom but no washcloths. Roof top balcony closed during the day. Doubt if you can see anything since building is so close to other buildings and side streets are very narrow.

This is a mixed review but overall we loved this hotel but had a few unsettling experiences. We had a beautiful terrace, loved the tub and enjoyed the rooftop bar. The location is also so wonderful! The first day housekeeping left our door unlocked after cleaning our room, when I mentioned it to the manager he made a joke about it and I stated it was a safety issue for us and we weren’t looking to get anyone in trouble. We decided not to have them clean our room after that and left our do not disturb sign up. They came in our room anyway and cleaned it, our do not disturb sign was no where to be found after that. It was scary and concerning. My partner went to speak to a different manager and they did their best to make things right but I felt on edge after that which was disappointing at 500 a night. While enjoying a drink on the roof top one night the manger handed us a little squirt gun (they keep them to squirt the birds away) and said here I know you Americans like to shoot. Most of us in America have lost someone to gun violence. It wasn’t funny. Beautiful hotel, sad we had the experience we did.

The property is really nice, rooms are spacious, bathroom is nice with a Tub, nice terrace. They have strict cancellation policies so changing anything will cost you enormously.

Booked this hotel for my husband's Father & Sons vacation based upon the reviews. He was very happy with the accommodations, and even sent me a video of their room! Would definitely recommend Hotel A LA Commedia if you plan to visit Venice.

Hotel is fantastic. Rooms are nice and clean, location is just a minute from Rialto bridge and rooftop bar. Staff are all super friendly. Will stay again.

A very pleasant stay in this hotel in Venice. within a block of the Rialto bridge/Ferry, restaurants and shopping. Also an excellent location within walking distance of the core city center attractions (St. Mark's Cathedral, Rialto Bridge, etc.) The rooftop bar was absolutely lovely. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of offerings. The only downside is that no concierge services are provided.

Best hotel for the money in Venice. We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Venice and Italy and for the price (especially in Venice) this hotel has it all and then some. To start, the staff is so friendly and warm. From the front desk, to the bellhop and the roof top bar, so warm, friendly, inviting and ready to give you the five star service. Then the roof top bar, what a great place to spend evenings, such a vibe and great drinks. The room was a great size (we were three, parents and a child) and we were comfortable. Location, right in the center but not noisy. We slept wonderfully, never hearing anything from the outside despite’s being down the street from everything. On our last day, they called us a private water taxi and took our bags all the way to the taxi and loaded them for us. Thanks La Commedia, we had a wonderful stay and you’ll see us again!

Great location near Rialto bridge, tucked in an area that is near a main road but off to the side so it's pretty quiet. Room style and decor seemed overly ornate and old-fashioned (reminded me of how a grandmother might decorate a room) but it was clean and fresh.

The best thing about the hotel was the warmth and helpfulness of all the staff.

Lovely room and beautiful facilities. Super courteous and helpful staffs. 4th floor terrace provides gorgeous panoramic view of the surrounding. We spent one evening there sipping wine and enjoying the view. Very convenient location: 2-minute walk to Ponte di Rialto, 5-minute walk to Piazza San Marco. Neighborhood is full of ristorante, trattoria, pizzeria, and enoteca.
