Lovely light and airy room. Very clean and tidy. Kitchen was well equipped and the working space was great. The garden was nice to unwind in.

only drawback is the common washrooms. You have to share the washrooms with 2 more people. But it was clean and really nice

Thin walls, you can hear almost everything from the other rooms, and the doors were making a lot of noise.

Clean bedroom, clean bathroom (depends on who you're sharing with I guess)with good water pressure and temperature, good hairdryer available, decent shared kitchen, room was a good size too and the sheets and blankets provided were nice. The host obviously cares alot about the upkeep of their rooms and it shows. The property was close to the metro and a number of restaurants and cafes which was useful.

The stay was ideal for us but the stairs might be difficult for travellers who struggle with mobility issues etc.

Very clean and comfortable

Overall, this is a good place as long as you know what you're getting. My room was bright and spacious (super high ceilings!), and both the room and the common areas were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is fine--near the Merode metro station, so not in the thick of the tourist area, but in a totally OK residential neighborhood that has some good options for cheap eats and beer.

When I booked this place months ago, I had thought that I was renting one of two rooms being offered by the owner of a house--the online presentation has since changed, so it now better represents what it is, which is a kind of rooming house. I hesitate to call it a hostel as there is no front desk or caretaker's office, and I never actually saw the owner or manager (and on one occasion, they were very slow to respond to a question, which makes me wonder what would have happened if there had been a serious problem). Since there are at least 5 rooms being rented out, there is much more noise than I would have liked and entirely too much coming and going of unsupervised randos. There is a code to enter the building from the street, but then there is no additional locked door to gain access to the living quarters, so anyone with the code can access the common areas, including the kitchen, the staircase, the bathrooms... and even your own room (as happened to me) if you've forgotten to lock it behind you with a key the very second after you've crossed the threshold.

Good communication from host, very easy self check in, nice clean shower/bathroom/bedroom. Nice facilities in bedroom like fan, storage and sink. Quiet and lovely neighbourhood with metro and tram very close.

Bed wasn't very comfortable so didn't have a great night sleep.

Loved the suburban location just a short walk from Parc du Centenaire. Super clean and well organised from an arrival perspective. Having kitchen facilities was great.

Sharing a bathroom is generally fine except when those you share with take an extraordinary amount of time in there when you're on a bit of a tight time schedule.

The property is only about 5-minute walk from a metro station. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathrooms include a bathtub. Everything clean.

The attic room I stayed was too low for an adult person. I could not stand normally and hit regularly the ceiling lamp. The room was good for sleeping but not much else could be done there. It would help to have a normal chair and a desk so one could sit and work a bit there. The second issue was the breakneck staircase to the attic. Nothing for an older or clumsy person.

I can really recommend this apartment. Shared bathroom is not a problem, because there are only two room on the floor. Everything us absolutely fantastic. Place is quite and safe, what is important especially in the Brussels. In the building there is a kitchen and the garden. In the kichtchen there is everything what is needed. Free tea and caffe as well.

There was no breakfast however the location was easily accessible by tram 81 for us which makes a connection to Midi.

There might have been some little toiletries like small hotel style shampoo or little soap bar.

Fahima is an excellent hostess. Very responsive and helpful. She gave us a couple of spot on recommendations for sight seeing and restaurants. would love to come back!

the place is cozy and clean. 5 metro stations away from city center, which is a 20 min super fun scooter ride if you’re into scooters ;)
