Generous and very helpful host! Went out of his way to accomodate our middle of the night arrival! Free tea and coffee which was awesome and it’s walking distance to turtle beach in Hikkaduwa! Clean and comfortable spacious room! Would stay again!

Everything! The staff made sure I was happy and attended to at all times, it made me feel safe and comfortable. The accomodation was clean bright and welcoming with a lot of chill space. The location was perfect, a cheap taxi away from surrounding areas and literally across the road from the beach which is beautiful also. A lot of food places near by but the hotel is building a restaurant and shisha lounge which will be completed soon and it’s just going to take this place to the next level! Plenty party places near by also. Good place to meet people as a solo traveller.

Incredible hostel! Facilities are great, AC and lots of room. Is a really beautiful space. I also love being able to wash/hang your own laundry. Highly recommend, would love to stay again.

A new resort, in a central location. The room was very quiet, considering it's near the main road. Host is super kind. There is a motorbike parking area, free water and tea, lounge to rest, and the balconies are awesome.

The restaurant could already have been open, but that's not the resort's fault, whatsoever.

The owner Oday is a gem of a person. One of the best guys I ever met in my life. The other staff was also very polite and helpful. Oday even let me his kitchen for free and lend me his shaving trimmer to use. The property is beautiful and the location is quite nearby popular areas. Do visit this hostel and enjoy your stay. I promise you wont regret it.

Great place with amazing host. It is full of possibilities: hookans, hall for dinner, balconies with cozy armchairs, barbershop. It is good place for dinner nearby, and unlimited spot with tea, water and coffee inside. Wifi was everywhere, interier is nice. For your bike you can use inside safe territory. So, I am going to come back here, when will be next time in hikkaduwa great balance for price/cozy

The facilities are very nicely decorated and clean. Well located and easy access to the best food and views. The staff were very helpful and made us feel like home immediately. The beach across the road is so beautiful and is well located close to several diving and surfing schools, nice bars, party places and ayurveda places. I loved my experience there and Hummus was big part of my joy in Hikkaduwa

The location is great, very central and at a picturesque spot , just round from turtle beach. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms large, beds huge and comfy. The wifi worked well and the shower was good.

The hostel is located right across the street from the beach. We had a beautiful room with a nice balcony. the experience was very good! Free coffee/Tea stand between the rooms for everyone to use and its included in the price. The restaraunt on the first floor is not ready yet but the sitting area they have is amazing. Staff can help you with organizing tours to various places like jeep safari …etc Moreover, there are many great places for surfing and diving in Hikkaduwa. Come to Hummus Hostel and you will not be disappointed!
