We really had a good time with Far. Far was a great guy, when we arrived, he welcomed with a delicious homemade juice, and then we had dinner in the house all together. The place is comfortable, and unlike some comments say, it has mosquito net. Far also runs safaris and activities, so check with him before cooking with another company, it will be fun:)

There's no WiFi in the house

They name says it all: you will have a good time with Far! I stayed at his hostel for one and a half week, and it was by far the best place I ever stayed in, not only in Tanzania but all around the world. That’s because of to major things: first the place. It’s a cozy house in an quite neighborhood and you can see Kilimanjaro from there, even from the eating area. The beds are comfortable and with different pillows and nice blankets. Due to the good shower system, you directly have warm water with enough water pressure. But now to the soul and life of this place: Far himself. This guy will not only greet you warmly on the day of arrival, he will also show you around in town, introduce you to his friends (if you like that) and plan trips to the hot springs or anywhere else you would like to go. Moreover the breakfast he prepares is brilliant, with a wide variety of fresh fruits, homemade jam and many other delicious things. If you like something else, just tell him and he tries his best to fulfill your needs. So I can gladly recommend to stay at his place and have a good time in Moshi.

Far is super friendly and helpful and he has a lot of knowledge about Moshi! You can count on him to help you with anything you need and he will take care of it, stress free. From transportation, to tours or places to go out in Moshi he is the right guy to go. We even cooked together and had some lovely evenings. The house is spotless clean and the morning breakfast is all you can ask for! Laundry service is also available! I totally recommend Far’s house, our stay there couldn’t have been any better!

Far is one of the most kindest, generous and loveliest people you’ll meet on your travels. And also great fun! So delighted to have spent a few nights here. I totally recommend. Anytime I come to Moshi, I’ll be back here.

Far is a great host! He’s very laid-back and friendly. As a solo-traveler, I found it really helpful that he organized the day trips for me (Lake Chala & Materuni Waterfalls) - Far knows what the best options are and who is trustworthy in Moshi. Felt safe during the stay :)

Far is an awesome guy who can’t do enough to make your stay fantastic. He went over and above making sure I arrived safely from Dar after my safari. He co ordinated my journey with the safari guy. This is a new guest house and far puts his heart and soul into making it beautiful and unique. You’ll feel like you made a friend after staying here ❤️

I would highly recommend this place! It was the best stay we had in Tanzania! Far is a really helpfull and kind host. He brought us to places in the town where we otherwise never had been. We also went with him for a tour to the Materuni waterfalls, just perfect day! One day we had to go to the clinic because of something with my ear and he came with us to help find the best medical care. The house and room are very clean and he pays a lot of attention to it that guests are feeling welcome in his house and have a clean, cosy stay. He also made dinner for us and it was amazing. We loved our days here!

Very cosy place with an amazing host! We really felt at home because of the warm welcome, great tips and company. Breakfast was delicious.

There is no mosquito net. There is some incense to burn to chase them away but might be nice to bring your own. You have to take a taxi/tuktuk/bodaboda to get to town.

Far was a great host. He introduced us to Moshi in a very pleasant way. He showed us a lot of local places and took great care of us. The house was clean and looked great! We took a day trip with him to the waterfall, which was very well organized. 10/10!!

Far was willing to put in effort to personalize and customize your stay to ensure it lived up to the highest quality and desires. For me, I asked him to make the room more romantic for my stay, and he brought in candles and rose-petals to decorate the room and make it look absolutely incredible. I could not have been more happy with how the entire experience of being at the Goodtimeswithfar House and I have zero complaints.
