The staff at this hotel is extremely attentive and very thorough. The hotel gives a very luxury feel and it’s just the right size where it’s not too big and it feels very intimate. They have every type of amenity you would like, including a spa a restaurant downstairs a nice breakfast restaurant on the 10th floor and they even have a beautiful rooftop bar with a 360 view of Hanoi. The value is tremendous, including if you book in a higher level room, you get some really nice amenity inclusions, including wine and fruit and free breakfast and free transportation to and from the airport. They are very good at communicating an email getting back to you and ensuring that your stay is very well cared for. I would highly recommend it and as a very frequent business traveler with over 100 nights per year, I do have very high standards.

Amazing location.
Friendly staff.
Really good service.

I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The hotel is conveniently located and easily walkable to all the important attractions around Hanoi. The staffs were all very friendly and helpful to any questions we have. Room is clean, comfortable and spacious. Feels wonderful to come back to a nice, cosy, comfortable room after a whole day out in the Hanoi heat in September.

Staff were super friendly, my room was nice, hotel is in great location. Rooftop pool is small, but fine. Only 2 sun deck chairs, but a bigger area for the rooftop bar. I only marked them down on their use of small plastic bottles for shampoo / conditioner etc.
I would stay again.

Nice hotel with good location in old quaters. Walkable to everywhere around the lake. Room is so comfortable but can not adjust the air container, sometimes you will feel too cold… totally it is good stay!

Excellent hotel in the middle of Hanoi. Wonderful staff who did all they could for us. Room was clean with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Lovely roof top pool with good views across the city. Location really good for the old town and hop on hop off bus tours.

Top class Hotel (felt like a small resort) and Top class Service
From the decor, comfort, room, amenities, location, food, hotel staffs
Everything is just perfect, will stay at this hotel again if we have a chance
Employees:
Employees are very well trained, from top to bottom. Help you with any questions or tip in Hanoi.
Open the door for you when you come in or leave. Press the elevator buttons for you.
Room clean can be requested every day. They clean top to bottom (including vacuum and change the bed sheets)
Employees never get in the elevator with you, they all wait for the next one (even the elevator is empty and you ask them to come in no problem)
The hotel General manager welcomes you with a welcome note with his/her contact on it shows how much he or she cares
Room:
Room felt luxurious with fine luxury furnitures. Huge king bed with tall headboard.
Huge 42” smart tv
Rainfall Shower head had so much water pressure
They give expensive lotions from Italy
Breakfast:
Breakfast buffet was amazing with well trained servers and great selection
Amenities:
Free steam room and Sauna
Rooftop pool and bar
Basement lounge (closed at the time)
Paid massage
AC everywhere
Location:
Hotel is located right in the heart of Hanoi and all tourist spots or places of interests and restaurants are around the hotel perimeter
3 tiny suggestions:
-Have a retractable umbrella beside the pool lounge and chairs, so people can also enjoy the amenities during the day
-Have a little sitti

I had a wonderful experience at my two day stay at this hotel! Room was a bit smaller than expected for the area, but was very clean. breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations and had a great view!

The hotel is clean but very small.

Property location is great. Friendly staff that can’t do enough for you.
Comfortable bed and clean rooms . The only downside is that there is no Shaving mirror in the bathroom and more lighting as quite dark. Hooks to hang towels and clothes would be handy .

Upper level hotel on the old quarter in Hanoi. Well located. My room was too small and the breakfast time is too short.
Nice swimming pool and excellent view from the bar on the top.

The staff were wonderful, they gave recommendations of things to do, stored our luggage days after we checked out when we had a short time in Hanoi after a trip to Halong bay. The rooftop bar and pool were convenient with a great view, and we could even bring a drink down to our room.

A nice place, great but expensive restaurant, very helpful staff. The shower was odd and wet the floor as much as the shower and I was disappointed in the use of plastic water bottles rather than reusable glass and small shampoo containers rather than reusable. Way too much plastic to not strong environmental practices, but a very nice hotel overall.

I wouldn't pay over $200 per night for this size room and condition comparing to half price of other hotels in the same area. It was not worth honestly. Only good thing was kind hotel staff.

One-night stay only on the way between Sa Pa and Ha Long, but we really enjoyed the central location, the comfort of our room and the great service

Nice small hotel in old quarter area in Hanoi. The service was excellent, all the staff are friendly and attentive to our needs. There are things that needs attention to:
#1 The shower which is inside the bathtub doesn’t have door so every time you take a shower, water splashes out of the bathtub which is dangerous as the floor can get really wet and slippery. A shower curtain would help to keep the floor dry. If you’re an older person with knees or back problem, getting on & off the bathtub can be hard. My husband has to help me get off the bathtub every time.
#2 The hotel’s Safe is not fixed onto the cupboard space so anyone can carry it out of your room as they are small & light. You can only use a key to open/close it. You cannot reset it & use your own PIN, I think the one in our room is broken. We were given 1 key to use when I asked for the other set of the key, I was told they only have 1. We never use the hotel’s Safe. We felt it was safer to leave our valuables in our suitcase.
These two concerns are the reasons why we canceled the other 2 reservations with them. I’m glad we moved to Lotte Hotel & then, The Intercontinental Landmark72 as we get to see the other side of Hanoi.

Staff very polite but no heating in room, dark room, not enough lighting, but right in the French quarter.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The staff is the most hospitable and kind. We are on our honeymoon and it was the best service we had our whole trip. They greeted us with a drink that was much appreciated after a flight. They took our bags to our room. They anticipate your needs very well. We booked a day cruise to ha long bay through them and that was a great time as well. The staff were incredible friendly and we could not have asked for a better end to our honeymoon! Rooms very clean and beautiful architecture and design. Breakfast included was full of variety. Also a great location near so many shops and the lake, plus train street that you can easily walk to.

The property was amazing! The staff friendly, helpful and on top of every detail from the moment I booked our rooms. We will definitely be back and stay here without a doubt!

LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about our 4 nights stay at Le Chanvre Hotel. Located in the Old Quarter and within walking distance to everything to see/do in Hanoi. A daily breakfast was included with ample selections. Executive room came with round trip airport transfers (especially appreciated after a long trans-pacific flight), a bottle of wine and daily fresh fruit. Guest service was over the top! The entire staff was friendly and super helpful which made the stay top notch. Highly recommend!

Booked here for the final few nights of our Vietnam trip and after staying at 3 other pretty great hotels in Hanoi during this same visit, this was quite a disappointment.
Location and service wise, it’s about the same as others. The bed is firm, the shower had great water pressure. We booked a pretty small room, so it was cramped, but the thing that was the disappointment was the noise. Sure, there was street noise which can’t be avoided—tho all of the other hotels in this price range and star level achieved an almost soundproof room. What was really terrible was how much you could hear in the hallways, the adjacent room and the room above us. At all hours. I’ve stayed at quieter hostels. We tried to ignore it, wearing earplugs etc, but what took the cake was when on our last day we attempted to enjoy the pool-that’s why we chose this place after all- and they were welding and using an angle grinder. No one even offered an apology that the work was obviously loud and destroying any chance at a relaxing.
I’d give this a hard pass, but grab a croissant from Gau next door if you’re in the neighbourhood.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay around the old quarter, it's convenient and close to shopping and dinning. The staff at this hotel were amazing very attentive and ready to help me with any questions I had. I stayed with my friend in the double twin room it was small but extremely clean, AC, shower worked excellent. I would stay here again for sure thanks so much for the hospitality of all the hotel staff!

The hotel only opened a month ago, we had cancelled out booking at a previous hotel as we thought we would love to have a pool to cool off in the afternoon following our excursions. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect hotel. The staff were magnificent and were attentive and accommodating.
Our room was beautiful a little small but the decor was lovely, and the beds were so comfortable we were loathe to get out of them in the morning.
The roof top pool is wonderful it has a terrace and a bar that will be opening soon.
