I'm not so sure you want my review. We arrived around 10:45pm. We're greeted at the front desk my a very helpful young man. We arrived at our room with 2 beds, only one was made. No towels at all, garbage cans unlined. Calling the office I assumed they would bring them up. Not happening. My 83 yr old husband had to return to the desk where he found a bag with what we needed. With both of us handicapped it was a nightmare. If it hasn't been so late we would have gone elsewhere

Everything was okay. The bed didnt seem 100 percent clean and the w8ndow did not have a safety where it stops it from opening too muxh and there was no screen. My husband and i had to really work to get the lock to actually lock to make sure it was safe since we were traveling with children. But staff was friendly and everything else was great. So a couple bumps but made it work. Still a cute room, was on 4th floor.

The service was great. Looks like they were repairing areas, wiring hanging out. We got to our room and it wasn't cleaned from last occupation. We go back to the front desk and attendant was able to get us a new clean room quickly. This room was clean and looked nice. No hot water in the sink though. We just stayed in room and used hot water from the tub. Morning coffee in lobby was luke warm. Elevator dirty floors and missing buttons. Will not stay here again. I talked with another guest who has stayed here multiple times and she mentioned the same issues with dirty rooms. Need to update their cleaning staff.

I reserved a room through Hotels dot com. After driving out of my way, at about midnight I arrive at the red roof Inn. I got there and there was no room for me. Huge Fail - and a pure crap night spent afterwards. I won't be using this app or the red roof family of fine lodging ever again.

Wasn't clean in every hallway, elevator, bathrooms and pool area

I'm from Flint and this area used to be nicer, Sadly it's become a bit run down.

Staff not friendly. Wanted a $100 cash deposit, not willing to provide a receipt. No extra blanket available, no coffee or breakfast. First floor a shambles, ongoing construction. Our room on the fourth floor was clean and comfortable.

The young African-American gentleman that checked me in did not have a name edge on he was extremely rude. He asked for my ID which I found and gave to him. Then he asked me for a credit card and for some reason it declined, even though there is a zero balance on it. He then told me I have to go to the ATM. I asked him if he Allows other credit cards and he said yes so I found one and he did charge me the full amount. When I asked when will the deposit be released he said I don’t know. He did not tell me where the pool was or how to get the towels. He did not write down the password for Wi-Fi nor did he tell me until I asked how do I get to my room number 424 the elevator was very old and shabby and obviously there is no breakfast. It was extremely loud out the window due to I 75 being right there with traffic . If you want pictures I can provide them

Management was poor

This hotel is ok for a one night stay. Staff was indifferent and didn’t seem to care much. Room was average. Not dirty but not clean. Breakfast was above average for a hotel of this level.

This was a nice surprise. The room was quite comfortable. The hotel was very clean and had new carpet installed recently. It appeared to be recently renovated. It was tucked back in a quiet area where I felt comfortable getting my dog out for a walk. There was no breakfast but there were plenty of options nearby. Great room for the money.

The property was under some construction leaving things out in the hall and exposed wires. There was no continental breakfast either

There property is under construction and a nail got into my tire so we had to fix a flat prior to getting back on road. The last day coffee was not made as you can not brew this your self. Also they ran out of clean towels so couldn’t even shower before leaving. Room need to be cleaned better along with service first night. Front desk lady was very rude. I don’t know how they had as many stars for this hotel. It is in a BAD part of town.

Dated for sure, but it was a good stay, staff were excellent, cracker barrel right there.

They didn’t even reset towels, take out garbage from one day to the next… they are remodeling and trying to stay open…not good

Well for starters we checked in late in the night so we were tired when we got in , but the next morning I just stared seeing stuff hair in the floor in the bathroom, the floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped . Didn’t get service just got fresh towels . Went to the pool an it was dirty the pool deck looked like it hadn’t been swept in a very long time spiders on the wall an floor cob webs everywhere hanging from the ceiling ,the cabinet in there that’s supposed to hold towels was dirty an mildew all over inside it , no towels . they were fixin the place up so it was under construction an the main hallway was closed , an we were told to stay out of there or you could be kicked out . A the coffee was terrible no sugar out there had to go to Tim Horton for coffee .The fitness room was closed , Next time I will call the hotel before we book to see if any thing is goin on .

Even though the hotel is currently being renovated, the pool is open and also the elevator. The pool and hot tub are heated which is VERY nice when you have little ones that get cold fast.

the first room was a horrible old outdated, piece of crap. The second room with red roof, was remodeled beautifully, clean. Elevator piece of crap, scared to get on. building inside was looking like it might be in the middle of remodeling. If not they should, cause it look like crap. I was worn about a woman being killed in that building and the body being found in a room. I was told to leave that place as soon as possible because it wasn't safe. I wasn't worried too much, I brought my 9mm with hollow point bullets and green laser, with me. No, I would not refer anyone to this dump, and I would not be returning to that red roof ever!

my brother was in town for 4 days, so i got him a room at your establishment. he said is was convenient location to his meetings, clean n staff was friendly.
