I really enjoyed my 3 nights stay at Splendid Hotel & SPA. Location is awesome. It is literally 20m away from the lake (in the city center). I could see the lake as soon as come outside the hotel. Room was very spacious. My room had a queen bed + a large size twin bed. Beds were super comfortable. Room was very clean. Bathroom was very clean and hot water was always available. Girls (Hannah and Hoa - not sure I spelled her name correctly :) ) at the reception are super friendly and very helpful. The guy comes in the evening is also super nice. Hannah arranged Ha Long Bay luxury cruise for me and I think she got me the best deal :). I would highly recommend to book through the hotel because they follow through it. I also booked airport pick up and drop off at a very reasonable price. They send nice cars for airport pick up and drop off. It makes your experience hassles free. I would highly recommend that. I am definitely going to stay at this hotel next time I come to Hanoi and will use the services offered by them like airport pickups or drop off, booking tours etc.

I made a reservation 6 hours before arriving at the hotel. When we arrived we were told we didn’t have a room because someone was sick and their luggage was still in the room. When I made the reservation there were multiple rooms available. The hotel wanted to send us to a sister property but we refused.

The receptionist Ms. Kimmie did all the best things for us. The trip might not have been so delicate but eventually we enjoyed our day in Hanoi thanks to the hotel and Kimmie.

Located in the heart of the Old Quarter, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location is definitely one of its biggest strengths, with many restaurants, cafes, and cultural spots within walking distance. It's a convenient base for exploring the area. However, the rooms were quite small, which made it a bit cramped, especially for longer stays. Additionally, there were a few minor service issues, like forgetting to bring fresh towels on a couple of occasions. While these were resolved after a request, it did affect the overall experience.

I stayed there for a few days. The room was clean and the staff had a good attitude. I especially appreciated Hieu's support when I checked out. Although most of the staff spoke English, there were also staff who could speak Japanese, so I think it was easier to communicate than at other hotels.
