The dress code for your restaurants are dumb ...you on a beach town ..how can you ask for long pants and dress shoes...for sure is not a Grand Lux Hotel...but over is good places to come back again...

Buffet restaurants served the same food daily in both restaurants with very little variation on a daily basis. Being there 7 days we were tired of eating the same thing daily. It’s a family resort yet adults separated with kids as adult pool with swim up bar did not allow kids in the pool. Servers would not take beverage order from kids. Limited kid drink options beside pop and water.

The restaurants are top notch ! The buffets have so many varieties and assortment of foods. You cannot go wrong at any of the buffets. Their drinks, alcoholic, are not stiff so I think I'd like an improvement in that area. The staff is beyond excellent, very courteous and attentive. There is an airport transfer you can purchase at an affordable price. The spa is very nice and clean. I got a massage there, and it was good. There were nightly shows that were very entertaining and enjoyable. Small shops just across the street where you can get some souvenirs or even just a junk food fix. My only complaint would be the check in and check out process. There was one guy when we checked in, three families in front of us for a wait time of 30 minutes. The check out, you must remember to bring all your pool towel cards back but there is no smooth process to check out as you are waiting in the same line that those that are checking in are standing in. Overall, a great all inclusive that has everything you need for a family vacation.

Huatulco was AMAZING!!! Barcelo not so much. The food was not good at all. No flavor the drinks were watered down. Not what I expected from a Resort. The pool was dirty. If you want to Visit Huatulco do not stay at Barcelo.

This is our fourth year going to Barcelo!!! Staff is really kind, the hotel is nice and quiet at night. Dina Rosa restaurant is really good! We love the Mexican and the Italian specialty restaurants! I enjoyed the premium little area for snacks. Barcelo has really nice amenities! Planning to return next year!

Well,..is a nice place, little be expensive compared with other places. Please consider this for your own. Ask for price if you planing to add a person in the middle of your vacation, I pay more than I was expecting.

Barceló is a wonderful place for you and your family, we stayed over a week and enjoyed everything, they think of every single detail, activities for kids and adults within the hotel installations. Special thanks to Don Abel, doña Mary, Lucedelis, and in general all of the great staff who work at the restaurant Food is beyond delicious, traditional flavors, extremely clean and organized I totally recommend this place!

Wonderful holiday! Room was clean, spacious and loved the balcony. We enjoyed both buffets and the service was fast and efficient . Would love to see an outside shower to rinse before entering pool or ocean. 🙏. The staff was very approachable and towels bountiful. Thank you we will be back.

Enjoyed our stay, with the highlight being the service that was provided. The food was good, not excellent but we were very satisfied with the choices. We we would definitely stay again if given the opportunity.
