We had a water leak in the restroom and a broken bed. Nothing was done to fix it. The serves were not friendly or helpful. Each water activity took way too long.

Beautiful, panoramic view. The hills are step to walk and not leveled perfectly.. you could fall if you’re not careful.

Overall we loved the place. The staff are great and took care of any needs we had. The views were spectacular! The room was awesome! The only issue was with the buffet. It was mostly fine but not consistent. Fish would be overcooked or the rice or vegetables undercooked. Most of the time we could find something to eat, but we shouldn’t have to hunt. The á la cart restaurants were more reliable. The 7th floor breakfast restaurant was consistently great. The staff there were on point. Edgar, at the front desk, was always open to hear suggestions or comments.

Everything was ok except for the lady in front desk. They did not even explain about the all inclusive. We have to ask other guest how to get to our room and where to eat. We have to wait for quite sometime for transportation to be able to get to the lobby or to the playa.

Park Royal has alot going for it and you can see they are working on bringing it back to it's former glory. The staff from front desk, to the restaurant staff beach and Italian, the trolley drivers, etc.. all so hard working and always quick to smile and greet you. There were ones that shone brightly like the girls at front desk Shunashi, Paulina, Paula and Patricia (just loved them). All the staff at the Italian restaurant so professional but kind and quick to get you whatever needed... fantastic team. The servers at the beach restaurant like Karla, Alam (not sure on spelling) were amazing the rest were great as well. Bartender Adrian at the 7th floor pool... amazing!! Friendly, quick to serve, got it right any time we ordered and went around taking care of everyone! The drivers of the trolleys we didn't take often but they always asked and were quick to wave and greet us when driving by if we were walking. I hope that Park Royal takes a moment to recognize their staff in Huatulco! They are truly amazing and so hardworking. For that very reason we would come back for them! The room was huge and deck was massive... the only things we would love to have had were some patio furniture to enjoy the deck. And if the kitchenette had a mini fridge that would have been perfect! The food at the Italian Restaurant was wonderful... the servers and manager were exceptional!! You felt pampered every time you went! Beach restaurant was also good... huge assortment of food staff amazing!

What I did not like was the food at the buffet was cold. Also you need a golf car to take you from your room to the pool, to the beach to the front desk. Basically anywhere, they need to put that in their description. That was a bit of an inconvenience.

This was our first time at this particular hotel the rooms were nice but they are on a hill and you need transport in little golf carts to get to the rooms,restaurants, pool, and the beach. The food was inconsistent some days it was good most of it came out room temperature not hot not cold. Service was also inconsistent but a handful were amazing look for Franco, Antonio, and Esteban we loved them and they took good care of us. Also be aware that as soon as you check in they lead you to a time share rep. We weren’t interested and immediately got the stank face from the concierge the entire time we were there. If in need of anything tour wise Rosy was on it! Delightful, helpful, extremely nice, and went above and beyond definitely one of the best. Overall, it was a good trip for the price we paid. Definitely enjoyed the all inclusive drink situation, but could use improvement when it comes to food. Would have great had the food been more consistent.
