Very convenient hotel for the station. The two ladies on reception were excellent

Good location, large and comfortable room but average service. Reception staff were rude and claiming they couldn’t find my reservation even though they’d found it 5minutes earlier to let me into the (expensive) gated car park.

Ideal town location - close to train station - centre restaurants- breakfast opens at 06:30. Staff very helpful

Excellent hotel. Modern clean rooms. Good staff. Nice breakfast. Excellent gym. Pool. And steamer/sauna. Good location too. Parking a small pain. But minor issue. Overall definitely recommend.

Took 20 mins to check-in as my booking couldn’t be found. Then on the morning of check-out, no hot water for a shower. I have emailed the hotel directly, but have not received a response.

Hotel is conveniently located in centre, room was comfortable. Breakfast is good. Parking available at extra charge and needs to be pre-booked over phone. Our pre-booking seemed to have been lost but luckily they had spaces that night.

The hotel is very well located, rooms are clean and comfortable and the spa facilities are pretty good considering the price of rooms. Breakfast was poor though, probably the worst hotel breakfast I've ever had unfortunately. Fruit and cereal section looked okay but I was having a fry up, which was all cold and tasteless (apart from the bacon which was just really salty)

It took me 3 attempts to find a room that did not have a problem. The lock on the door of the first room did not work and it would not open. The staff changed me to another room - the desk light in the second room did not work properly and it would randomly flicker on and off - also, when off, one could hear the mains power crackling which, to me, is a dangerous fire hazard. The final, 3rd room was okay, it worked okay but had a very dirty and stained carpet - it too me over an hour to get to this point. The Reception Staff did try to help as best they could but there was no one that could help them or me. Breakfast the next day was poorly serviced. I got to breakfast at 9:15am and found - no scrambled egg, no black pudding, no bacon, no beans, orange juice dispenser finished, no smoked salmon. To give them their due, the staff, when I mentioned these, made great efforts to fix these problems. My summary is that the hotel is in a good location but it is in serious need of refurbishment. Add to this, it was apparent that the hotel was seriously understaffed with friendly and helpful staff members doing the best that they could manage with no available resource. Everyone did the best that they could.

Suburb The food was very good restaurant quality - mussels and pies and curry and deserts all tasted by our group Friendly efficient staff Pool spotless - and little things like plastic bags for your wet swimwear all thought about Abd dog friendly !

Great hotel in an excellent location. All staff were polite as expected. Room was a great size. Comfortable bed, large tv, great shower and we had separate toilet. Added bonus of being able to use the pool, Sauna and Steam room

Housekeeping walked in on me just after I had got out the shower and was naked in the room. They had allegedly got the wrong room. I would not trust the staff at this hotel.
