Fantastic 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath adobe home offers plenty of living space and is set on a full acre lot with views. You'll be enchanted with the spacious fully fenced backyard perfect for you and your furry companions. The backyard has string lights which adds the perfect ambiance for a night outside grilling with family and friends. With enough beds to sleep 12 comfortably, the home perfectly suits families and gives everyone enough space to spread out. A central swamp cooler air conditioner ensures the homes stay comfortable even during the warm summer months. Single-level living ensures everyone in your group will be able to access all parts of the home.
5-star location - located near all the popular outdoor attractions - hiking, mountain biking, paddleboarding, horseback riding, fishing, and golfing. Spend a day embarking on a picturesque train ride, or delighting in the therapeutic benefits of geothermal waters at Durango Hot Springs. Durango La Plata Airport is 10 minutes away, Downtown Durango is 15 minutes, Mesa Verde National Park is 45 minutes away, and Purgatory is a quick 45-minute drive.

This property is pet friendly and the one acre is fully fenced. The pet fee is $25/per day, each pet. We allow up to 2 dogs per stay. The maximum pet fee is $200 per dog and will be added to your reservation after you book.
Please Note: There is an additional rental on property about 100 yards away - garage studio. There are NO shared areas, giving you complete privacy.

Guests will be sent a vacation rental agreement by Durango Colorado Vacations (the property manager) to e-sign at the time of booking.

We are implementing a strict "one strike" policy for any guests who are found having any unauthorized gatherings, pets or guests with them in the home. Failure to disclose any of the stated above will result in immediate termination of stay with no refund being issued for unused nights.

Cancellation Policy:
If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that are made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival will receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee. Between (29) days and fifteen (15) days before arrival, guest will be refunded 50% of the reservation amount. (14) days or less to arrival, no refunds given.
For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date to receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee Cancellations made between thirty one (31) days in advance of your arrival and (59) days will receive a 50% refund.
Trip insurance is available for purchase and is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

so much noise from highway out front unable to sleep in 2 of 3 bedrooms. Had to take mattress off bed and sleep on it on the floor in the living room away from noise thru windows in bedroom.
If this would have been a hotel I would have checked out after the first night.

Pros: The house is open with lots of room and very clean on the inside. It is well stocked and comfortable. It is pretty convenient to the Durango area. Indoors it is quiet with the windows and doors closed. The swamp cooler and low humidity kept the house cool and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking.
Cons: The house is located on a very busy highway. Very noisy with windows or doors opened or sitting on the front or back porches. The porches were dirty, and unkempt. Front porch rocker was propped against the wall and when moved the rocker leg broke, someone had put staples in it to try to fix the problem. An accident could have taken place if a child had climbed on the rocker. The outside lawn and garden areas needed attention. All were overgrown with weeds and very unattractive. It did not look like the pictures.
Back porch doors….two rocks on the patio were the only things that kept these doors from opening (at times). The doors did not lock properly! These doors led in to what was listed as a 4th bedroom/office area that had a sleeper sofa in it. This was not a 4th bedroom and should not be listed as a 4 bedroom home.
Both of the doors leading into the master bath and shower areas did not close or lock properly. Sharing this area with others was a bit discerning at times. Most of doors in the home need adjustment as the majority of them stick and are hard to open and close.
The cheap blinds in the dining area and master bedroom need to be repaired or replaced.
Summary: For the price we paid I expected a clean and secure place to stay. Every time we left for a day trip I worried about what we left in the unsecured home. I told the rental company of my concerns with the unlockable doors and they responded that they would 'discuss with the team, and address them as quickly as possible'. I believe they should have taken care of the issues while we were there. I have pictures I sent to them, but do not see a place to post on my review. I cannot recommend this rental to anyone until these problems have been resolved.

We took 8 grands to beautiful Colorado to experience all we could in 4 days. This home was just perfect to accommodate our crew and assessable to Mesa Verde, Ouray Hot Springs and Silverton train ride.

This place is awesome. Very and i mean very spacious. Huge kitchen with everything you would need to make some good meals. The master room is absolutely huge! Brand new grill. Awesome yard.. i highly recommend to anyone coming to Durango
