I don't recommend this place at all. We had issues from the start of the stay - the Staff didn't know about our arrival so we had to wait even though our reservation was made a month prior.
The door to the room was opening just by itself and the electronic lock was broken, so all the time we had our door open without knowing it!!!!
The walls are not soundproof - we heard all conversations from the rooms nextdoor. Windows were leaky - the seal was missing. We expected a lot more for such a price.

Friendly staff. Quiet place. However, I'm not sure about the type of room they gave us because I booked for a Junior Suite but the room wasn't the same as shown in the pictures.

I arrived early due to flight and was given an early check in by a very helpful Night Manager, George. Hotel is very well laid out, quiet and comfortable and is situated high up in the old town. You can get lost on those streets.

HE LOCATION IS FAR FROM STORES AND RESTAURANTS. THERE WAS A FOUL SMELL OF THE SWERE SYSTEM IN OUR ROOM. THE STAFF WERE VERY NICE.

Despite a couple of issues with the room (not working fridge that was fixed in a 5 minutes) the room was amazing. Huge and comfortable.

One huge negative was the transport arranged by the hotel to get to the airport when leaving: rude driver, tatty and old battered car - a weck, actually - hot and very unpleasant. That alone is a reason not to stay again at this hotel.

There is no way this is a 4 star hotel. Even one star would be too much. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. This is not an exaggerating or a joke. I mean I don’t know where to start from. We got there and staff were on their phones playing games and chatting. We told them we booked a room online and took them over 20 mins to find our booking. They booked us to the wrong room. The bed is awful and you can feel the spring through your back and rips. Food is very cold and there are no staff to talk to in the breakfast room. No milk provided in this 4 star hotel. Staff are rude and just don’t seem to be bothered. I honestly don’t recommend this hotel. If you think I’m exaggerating then see yourself.

I stood for ages while reception told me I was in block 2, I didn't know what that meant at the time, but they didn't explain either. Eventually I was given a room in Block 1 where i was apparently standing.
The bed was horrible, you could twang the springs if you ran your finger over the mattress. The rest of the room was fine, more of a huge bathroom with a sleeping area.
The breakfast each morning was outstanding, can't fault it or the friendly staff. The swimming pool was great too, it is in Block 2, so just a short walk.
Otherwise the hotel is just devoid of character, everyone is on business, so no cafe, restaurant, snack bar or alcohol bar, that i found. There is a tv area which the staff use.
So, okay for the price, breakfast and pool make it worth it. Honestly, somewhere smaller with character and the personal touch would be far nicer. All depends if you just want total anonymity.
