The breakfast was Ok. The lady who prepared the omelets and waffles was great. However, I arrived before the 10 a.m. breakfast deadline and was charged $14. About 10 minutes later, a gentleman came in late and was given the same breakfast by the manager, for a lesser charge. I have no problem with paying, but if you place a cut-off time for the meal, it should be followed and no special concessions should be made for others! Other than that, it was a good stay. I'm not sure points were added to my Hilton Honors account though.

There were some ants located in the bathroom of Room 331.

Location is perfect. Right in the middle of everything. Was able to walk to the movie theater (which was extremely nice), Whole Foods, and Ben & Jerry’s all in one trip. It’s a great location to not have to drive far to get anywhere

Really disappointed in the cleanliness and readiness of the room. The couch had multiple stains and wear/tear. When I folded out the bed in the pull-out couch, there were no sheets on the bed and none to be found in the room. The mattress had questionable staining on the front and back. When I called to get sheets delivered up to the room, I was met with a housekeeper who knocked on the door, dropped them on the floor, and pointed when I opened the door. Never said a word. Just pointed and left. The availability of blankets was also an issue. I needed 2 blankets for my kids and was told I could only have 1. I’ve never experienced a hotel who could not give more than 1 blanket to a room. The recessed light in the bathroom was hanging on by the wires connected to it. Completely exposing the wiring to the humidity of the bathroom. We were only given 2 towels for a 4 person stay. For the money I paid to stay at a higher-end hotel like the Double Tree, the experience was less than expected.

The convenience of the breakfast was good. There were many selections of food to choose from and the service was superb! It was very clean. The service people were so attentive and pleasant. We were thrilled with our location. We were just a little outside of the middle of the city so there was less traffic and that parking was so much better where we were staying. It was very convenient to go to all our tourist locations.

Our only problem was connecting to the Internet. Our devices just couldn't make the connection and if it make the connection it popped us right off.

When we arrived we waited in line for 30 min to check in and was told that a room was not ready for us and to check back in 15 min. We did that and a room was still not ready. We left our bags at the front desk since we had a show to go to. When we got back 4 hours later we had to wait in line for an HOUR before we could get set up with a room and get our things back. We were told that a large portion of staff had quit and managers were cleaning rooms. People were crowded in the lobby and hallways unable to check in. Finally we were able to get a room because we checked in before our show and it had been so long. Overall the staff seemed unapologetic and uncaring to the discomfort placed on guests. The room was fine but I did see mold growing on one of the paintings in our room. Over all I was very disappointed in the service.

location was convenient to what I was doing in Memphis.

The room was DIRTY. There were easily seen food stains on the sides of the comfortable chair and on the carpet. When I rubbed one with a washcloth, it came off fairly easily. It was gross like something had splattered all over without being cleaned at all. The desk phone in my room did not work and I had to call the desk from my cell phone after several attempts to climb under the desk and fix the room phone.

Very clean, and a wonderful bed and shower. The room was warm, almost too warm. Housecleaning staff was very friendly.

The afternoon staff when we checked in were not at all helpful or informative about anything.

It was totally over priced. Lots of hidden fees and not generous with amenities at all.... Nor does anyone ask if they could help you or get you something. How much does a packet of coffee cost when you're spending $280.00 for a room... Come on!
