It was close to Governor’s Square.

Some of its room furnishings need to be updated, one room had a disturbing amount of bleach smell in it, elevator floors were not swept of debris strewn on the ground, breakfast was not available because “the worker didn’t show up to cook this morning” said front desk personnel.

The staff were really excellent and accommodating:m. The bed was very comfortable. The room was big.

The decor could do with a bit of an upgrade as it looks quite dated. The breakfast menu doesn’t cater very well for vegans/ veggies.

I didn’t like anything. I guess my expectations were too high.

The room wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be. The air in the room didn’t work right. There was no breakfast and the restaurant wasn’t opened. I was just very displeased. I had higher expectations because we had a great experience at the same hotel in Tennessee so I was really looking forward to a great experience and just didn’t have one.

when I got my key I left to pick up food and returned. The receptionist spoke with me then and I went up stairs. as soon as I went to my room I learned the toilet did not work. the phone did not ring at the front desk so I had to go to front desk. receptionist was more concerned about if I used the bed, which I had not. She said she had two queens and if I didn’t take that room they were rather full. she never apologized and in fact copped an attitude. I told her I was very disappointed in the Hilton as it certainly was not up to what I expected . overnight I received a text asking if my stay met my expectations and I wrote about my experience. when I was checking out the morning receptionist was very apologetic and said she added my points for the stay to my account. she would inform the manager. I told her I also got a phone call at 4:30 am and again on the message phone at 8& 9 am. also the window curtain consisted of sheer curtains and a pair of stationary decorative curtains. she told me all the rooms had three pairs of curtains 211 did not. fortunately I brought a eye mask. shower only had one safety bar and was slippery.

The spa bath jacuzzi inside the room was nice and large and the room was a nice size too.

The entire hotel was out of hot water and the room could stand to updated.
