It was clean and comfortable. Ms. Melissa was there to greet us.
If we were given directions to get there we would have gotten off at Popeyes and walked over. GPS directions were misleading. If maps were provided about the trolley system that would have been helpful.

Hotel was very good. I had the room downstairs. Plenty of room and a private bathroom just outside the room. I only met the housekeeper since it's a self check in hotel. They send you a code for the front door and your room. She was very nice and loved to chat. Always asked if there was anything I needed.
The neighborhood is not the best place to go outside after dark with a lot of homeless.
I don't know if anywhere else is going to be different since I stayed in for that reason.

Everything - comfortable bed, beautiful room, nice big shared kitchen. We loved the old style of the house which complemented our stay in New Orleans.
Roadworks out front made parking and access tricky but not the fault of the hotel.

Beautiful, charming house just a short tram ride away from the Garden District and the French Quarter. Travis was helpful and responsive and Melissa was lovely. I would definitely recommend this place over any hotel in town.

The property looks way better in person than in the pictures, it’s lovely. And the housekeeper Melissa was the sweetest and most helpful ever.

WE were not able to check in as we couldn't get to the house because of road construction,
We could not reach the home due to street construction. We had to get another hotel We would like our $$$ refunded.

WG Creole House is an absolutely wonderful place to stay: beautifully appointed, meticulously clean, and conveniently located, within walking distance of downtown, the convention center, Canal Street, and the French Quarter. Melissa is a wonderfully friendly innkeeper who is passionate about her city and wants all her guests to experience the best of New Orleans, including experiences and dining to be had off the beaten path. This place will be our go-to for all future visits to the Crescent City!
Nothing about the property itself—it was fantastic. Guests should be aware that Clio Street itself is torn up right now with construction, so be aware if you take Uber in or are rolling luggage along the street. Hopefully it should be finished soon. Nearby are overpasses under which several people stay in tents—it might look sketchy, but nobody bothered us and it’s pretty harmless…I say that as a native Chicagoan who knows dangerous areas when I see them. The surrounding neighborhood is actually charming and then the other side of the overpass leads to the hip Warehouse District.

The location was great. A quick 5-minute walk to the street car, which was only $3/day for unlimited public transportation.
The housekeeper, Melissa, was WONDERFUL!!!! So much fun to talk to, she made us feel like family and was constantly providing great recommendations for anything we asked for. (She is the middle person in the attached group selfie.)
The BED and PILLOWS were AMAZING. I honestly commented to my hubby about these everyday...they were the MOST COMFORTABLE bed and pillows I've ever slept on.
The temperature of the room was always perfect. We were there in January, and the heater always went on and off at the perfect time to make it consistently very comfortable.

The house was beautiful! Melissa was super friendly and was a pleasure to chat with.
The street in front of the house was being worked on. Nothing the house could change about that. Melissa did her absolute best to help us with our parking needs.

Very nice room and facility. Excellent value. Very convenient to St. Charles street car. Near cruise terminal. Free street parking.
Street in very poor condition.

Great location, nice room and nice welcoming staff.
Road outside dusty and needs fixing. Bathroom a little small.

The property is located at a quiet and decent neighborhood with free on street parking. Self Check-In was very easy, the rooms and kitchen are so clean. The kitchen has a microwave, coffee maker and water kettle. We stayed in the room downstairs with a separate private bathroom. Free wifi included and the owner was always reachable via booking.com message. Thank you, Travis!
I wish the owner would put a “please watch your step sign” when walking to the room downstairs. And for info there’s still construction work around the property so there’s limited parking space.

The location was convenient for bourbon & Jackson street. Beautiful home, Melissa the housekeeper is such a sweetheart! Keyless entry was easy & the staff is very helpful when you need something.
The bed needs to be replaced, both my husband and I ended up in the middle because the mattress was sunken in in the middle. There was no hot water in the bathroom sinks, no ice or water for guests. There was a sign on the refrigerator, washer & dryer that they were out of order, was a big inconvenience. There’s absolutely no parking, so you have to park on any street available or be back by 4 pm to get a closer parking. Staff is not always in the house, so you have to call or text.

This quiet Victorian home is beautiful and so conveniently located! It’s a quick and safe 2 1/2 blocks to the St Charles/Erato streetcar stop.
Melissa was delightful and a true New Orleans gem! We stopped by early to park (free on street) and were allowed to stow our luggage (in a small closet) until our room was ready. Melissa also had our room ready early!
The common spaces are updated, but still have the charm and beauty of an old Victorian home.
Next time we visit Nola, WG Creole House will be our 1st choice!!! It is a very affordable hidden gem 💕
Although a temporary situation, the street was muddy. The sidewalks helped! With a recent pipe bursting in the street (a block away,) rain and construction there was a lot of mud.
I expect this will be cleared up within a week or two. Even so, we truly enjoyed our stay and would book again with or without the mud.

The style of the house was exquisite, clean and very authentic for New Orleans. The price is amazing for the accommodation. The House Lady was incredibly inviting and friendly. Great location to visit everything in the NOLA area. Our first visit to the USA for a 14 day road trip (New Orleans-Atlanta-Nashville-Memphis- New Orleans) and this was by far the best hotel we stayed in out of the 6 hotels, and probably the cheapest.
It's just unfortunate that the nearby area and homes surrounding the hotel are being updated so some roads were blocked off due to construction and the nearby roads are all messy and not very attractive.
This takes nothing away from the hotel and we will definately return as I'm sure once building work is complete, this area of NOLA is going to be exceptional.

It was quaint and a different experience.
The location. I believe it will be nice someday but the street in front of the guest house was torn up to the point of being almost non existent.

The house was very clean and the price can’t be beat. The code locks on the doors were a great addition. The beautiful kitchen and we discovered a coffee pot.
A continental breakfast would be nice just to get us going. It was hard waking up after a long drive and having to discover coffee was available. But that’s really being nit picky; the property is wonderful.

Melissa was wonderful and welcoming, but ensured a quiet environment for resting.
The location was a bit of a surprise due to road construction, but overall this was minor compared to the excellence within the home.
