The apt was tastefully furnished, has amazing views, and is centrally located. A lovely place to view the fireworks and enjoy the local concerts. Our hosts were friendly and speak English! Loved buying artwork to support an Animal Rescue.

Only a few minutes walk from the station but with panoramic views towards the old town. About 20 minutes pleasant walk to the old town. Comfortable and fully equipped for self catering. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Very helpful hosts. Very good value. Great for our 2 night stay.

Clear instructions to access the apartment. It s close enough to walk from train stn. ( We are over 70). There is a fold out sofa in lounge. There was milk and water and couple teabags for us.

Great location for walking to the old city and around the pedestrian-only streets. Lovely view across the rooftops to old Carcassonne.

the bed is too low for someone with mobility problems it’s hard to use I have arthritis in my knees and found it awkward, and the apartment is not easy to find

Lovely cosy apartment.. spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. Hosts had thought of every detail. Fantastic views of the castle and old city . We enjoyed our stay in carcassonne.

Lovely spacious apartment with splendid views over Carcassonne. Very well equipped, with the added luxury of milk in the fridge, tea bags and coffee. A very special place.

Location and views were fabulous. Well-equipped apartment. Supermarket, restaurants and parking close by. Some groceries provided.

Bookings.com messaging service wouldn't work for us and we couldn't access any messages from the hosts. Fortunately we were able to ring the hosts and then message through WhatsApp and they were extremely helpful - we could not have got access to the keys without that hence the score given to question 3.

I absolutely loved my little stay here. Sharon is a wonderful and very obliging host which I really appreciated. The apartment has EVERYTHING that you need. Beautiful views and centrally located. I will be back next year for another stay.

Apartment was in a brilliant location. Handy for shops, eateries, canal and Cite. Facilities were very good, apartment very comfortable. Although we were out and about during the day, it was relaxing to come back to the apartment, have a glass of wine and enjoy the views. Sharon was able to accommodate an early entry into the apartment.

We could have done with 2 bath towels rather than having to share one for the duration of our stay.

window in bedroom doesn’t shut properly. Same with bathroom. Lift was not working first day with help we carried our luggage 6 floors but was repaired following day.

The apartment was very well equipped and had everything as described in the property profile. The hosts were very good at communication and the view from the apartment is stunning. We stayed during a heatwave and the fans provided were welcome as the property does not have air conditioning, if air con was available my rating would be 10/10.

Air conditioning, but that is only because the temperatures whist we stayed were exceptionally high and it would not stop us returning in the future at another time of year

Nothing. It was brilliant

Simple but adequate apartment. Enough space, comfortable dwelling. Everything you need is there, and all utilities work. View to the historic city is unparalelled. Grocery shopping on walking distance.

Contact with host was a bit awkward. You leave the key somewhere and the routing to where to drop it isn't very clear. "Leave at the table in the hall", and there's no table in the hall.... Afterwards the host got a bit annoyed with this. I can understand that ofcourse, but maybe work on providing a better way to communicate where to leave the keys.

First, the view was absolutely incredible. Best view of the city we got the whole time we were there. The apartment was also perfectly stocked with everything that we needed for our stay, spices, coffee, tea, even a space heater, and binoculars. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has great natural lighting. It's the perfect place for a visit to Carcassonne!
