There is a store for groceries right down the street and plenty of restaurants in the area to enjoy.

The apartment was perfect and in walking distance to all we want to see in Firenze.
The communication with Sonia was perfect and we got lovely tips. We used the possibility to rent the garage with a reservation from her.
We would stay there again the next time in Firenze. Thank you very much. 🙏

We had such a great stay at Sonia's place in Florence. The location is walkable to everything, but nothing is close. However, it's away from the tourist areas and has a great local vibe to it so it was perfect for our needs. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Sonia was one of the best hosts we have ever had staying in dozens of VRBO's. She helped with getting us cabs, suggesting walking routes, and even pointed out the best local restaurants. I cannot underscore how nice it was to have a local trusted source.

A cute little apartment in a wonderful area. Sonia was incredibly organized from the initial booking through to meeting us at arrival. Communication was very easy. She took the time to go through the entire apartment with us until we were comfortable. Tea, coffee and condiments were all available for our use. She is very knowledgeable of the city and recommended some fabulous restaurants. Make sure to visit Napoleonis and Trattoria BBQ…delicious meals within walking distance. The small garden outside is such a welcome addition…perfect place for coffee in the morning. The apartment is within walking distance to anything in the city and it was nice to stay across the Arno, away from the crowds.

The property was in a prime location. Place was spotless. Sonia was a great host.
Mapped out excellent eateries and attractions. Bottle of water, wine and fruit flan was a nice personal touch. Sonia makes you feel like family and even came by to say goodbye. I would highly recommend this place.

Convenient location. Walking distance to main Florence attractions. Off the main street, first floor apartment, no noise from traffic. Very clean and spacious apartment. Welcoming and helpful host.

This property was the perfect home for our Florence vacation. We loved staying in this part of the city which was close enough to walk to all the main attractions in city center but away from all the busyness of that area. Sonia was an amazing host—one our best ever. She helped us navigate the bus and gave great suggestions for things to do and places to eat.
Favorite things we did (at Sonia’s suggestion!) were Piazelle Michelangelo and Pitti Palace.
If we make our way back to Florence someday, I hope Sonia is still hosting!

We had a wonderful stay in Florence and a lot of that had to do with this relaxing and peaceful home to come back to everyday after a busy day exploring this beautiful city. Our host was so generous and very helpful, we are so grateful to have stayed here. It was so close and walkable to everything in the city. I would highly recommend it.

Great location. Grocery stores, restaurants, gelato and pharmacy within a very short walk. Sonia was amazing to deal with- replied to messages very quickly and when we arrived spent time to go through the apartment with us and tell us about the neighbourhood ( even drew everything for us on a map). Great outdoor space for dinner and drinks. Only down side (and it’s minor) is that because there were 5 of us, this unfortunately meant the sitting room was converted into a bedroom so there was limited sitting space inside. Having said that, we were able to easily convert the bed back into a couch when we needed to. Like I said, minor issue. Overall a great trip. Grazie Sonia!!!

We really enjoyed Sonia’s place in Florence. The location was surprisingly great! Much more of a local vibe with great restaurants nearby. Florence is such a walkable city and it was easy to walk to the city’s central area. Sonia gave us helpful instructions and tips for our quick 2-night stay. The size was more than comfortable for me and my friend. Would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Sonia - you were a great host!

We wanted something a little outside of all the tourists attractions but close enough. The house was very clean and well organized. Three bedrooms and 2 full baths gave us lo the room we needed. The owner was very attentive to our needs. She made sure we knew what restaurants were close and good! She took time to map out suggestions of “must see” areas in Florence. I would stay here again.

This apartment was wonderful and absolutely perfect for our Florence visit. The neighborhood was great. Close to the main City Center but in a more local area with great restaurants and activities. Sonia was a perfect host, from our (a little later than planned) check in to arranging a taxi for us when departing. Highly recommend Sonia's place in Florence!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay stay in Sonia’s apartment in Florence, just outside the ZTL zone of the Florence city centre. Travelling by car, we needed parking and a safe and secure garage was located just around the corner from the apartment. Sonia arranged a booking for our car which made it so easy for us.
The apartment has everything one needs for a wonderful stay in Florence. Clean, comfortable and all amenities are provided. Having well coded bins for rubbish and recycling was excellent. We were spoilt for choice with restaurants in the neighborhood offering local delicacies and great service.
Sonia was ever so helpful and giving with her knowledge about Florence and very quick to reply to any questions we had during the booking process. The quiet courtyard would be a wonderful oasis to relax in during the warmer months. We can’t wait to return to Florence and stay in Sonia’s apartment in the European Summer.

This apartment was amazing and we loved staying here. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and the only sad part for us was that is was too cold to enjoy the beautiful patio. During the day there is lots of traffic, but at night the building and street is very quiet. It is located close to many restaurants and right across the street from the hop on hop off bus stop.
But the absolute best part of the apartment is the host. Sonia was incredibly helpful when we reached out prior to our arrival asking for recommendations for some tours we wanted to take. She met us at the apartment when we arrived and spent about 15 minutes with us showing us everything for the apartment and gave us some recommendations for restaurants and grocery stores. She also told us some places that she recommended we visit in Florence. She then checked on us the next day via text to ensure everything was going well. She also assisted us in arranging transportation to the train station upon our departure.
Lastly, we want to mention the sheets and how soft they were, and the towels were so fluffy, we wrote down the name to see if we could order some for home.
This is a must stay at apartment! We cannot wait to come back!

Sonia was absolutely wonderful. A very warm and friendly host, easy communication and she went out of her way to help with anything you could need.
Apartment is conveniently located within walking distance of all major sights. There is also a great grocery store just across the street and through a lovely little park. It was nice to enjoy a home cooked meal after several nights in hotels/restaurants.
If you are arriving by car there was a perfect parking garage right around the corner, less than 1 min walk. Which Sonia also entirely arranged for us to use.

This was a wonderful apartment with a lovely quiet terrace. Sonia was very welcoming and helpful. We had a bottle of wine waiting for us! She even provided coffee and some breakfast items.I would definitely stay here again!

Sonia is an AMAZING host. She arranged transportation for us. Gave us maps and showed recommendations. The house was perfect. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to sit outside on the beautiful patio. We could easily walk to everything. Sonia checked on us and responded to any requests we made immediately. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend to all of my friends

This charming apartment is close to all the local restaurants on the other side of the water. The nicest part was how we were literally greeted by Sonia at the corner where we were dropped off by the cab driver. She then proceeded to give us a completely thorough explanation of the whole place including where the circuit breaker was and how to turn on the stove. She was in communication the whole time with recommendations of where to eat in the neighborhood. We had wine and appetizers with friends outside on the patio. We really had a local experience here. If I return, I would definitely stay here again and recommend Sonia’s place. When I thought I left something, everyone mentioned “Sonia’s place” - not the “place in Florence” too. She’s fluent in English too.

The apartment was comfortable and quiet, located within steps of the bus stop in a neighborhood with good restaurants in close walking distance. The best thing about it was our host, Sonia, who met us and gave us an orientation to the apartment (with AC & laundry!), as well as good local restaurants, grocery stores, an how to use the buses. Her genuine friendliness made us feel right at home! She even arranged a taxi to enable us to make an early-morning museum tour on our first day! Highly recommend!

This is the perfect get-away from central Firenze. It's close enough to walk to 90% of the sites and it gives you the feel of staying where the locals live and play. The apartment was very roomy - could easily accommodate 3 couples if needed. Love the courtyard and the puppy next door was an amazing companion for those of us who left our fur babies at home! Sonia was a great hostess and very helpful. Will definitely be back!

We spent a very pleasant week in Florence staying in this property. Communication with Sonia was excellent over WhatsApp. She greeted us at the flat even though it was 20:00 by the time we arrived and gave us lots of useful advice on local shops, restaurants and transport. She also helped us book a taxi back to the airport at the end of our stay.
The flat is about 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Florence. It’s in a quieter area, but still near supermarkets and with a good choice of nearby local restaurants, which seemed to offer better value than the ones in the centre.
The outside space was larger than we expected and was a pleasant place to sit outside or have a meal. As you’d expect from a ground floor courtyard garden, it’s overlooked by the balconies of other flats above.
The flat was well equipped. The air conditioning worked well even though it was over 40C for part of our stay. The internet speed was excellent, there was plenty of hot water for the showers and the solid walls meant there was no issue with noise from other flats.

This property is the perfect base for Florence. It’s close to the centre, but away from the crowds so you can relax together. It’s very spacious and has a lovely, comfortable outdoor space The facilities are excellent, the beds are comfortable and the apartment is cool. Sonia is so friendly and welcoming- honestly can’t recommend enough!

Had a lovely stay in this property. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The location is very convenient to walk into the main part of Florence but a quiet neighborhood at night. Sonia the host is wonderful, super responsive and helpful. Left us wonderful treats to make our stay special. Highly recommend this property for a great visit.

We stayed for a couple of nights in the apartment with our 16 year old son - absolutely no complaints- everything you need for your stay and to make you feel at home - clean and toiletries available - Sonia met us and explained how everything worked and left us basic things like water etc and a lovely bottle of wine - she explained how to get to all the sights and it really wasn’t far to walk - lots of lovely restaurants close to the apartment and Carfour mini mart very close - nice bar just round the corner where they had live music - apartment had aircon that worked well and a lovely outdoor space - highly recommend and if we visit Florence again I would definitely stay again 5 stars from us

Sonia is really what makes her rental special. You can tell she cares about her guests. She met us at the apartment with a bottle of wine, bottled water, snacks, and fresh apricots from her tree. She spent at least an hour marking her favorite restaurants, local sites, bus routes, and grocery stores on a map with us, and going over how to work things in the apartment. I’ve never had a host do that for us before and I’ve stayed in many VRBOs.
A couple things to be aware of - this place is a good walk into the main part of Florence to see the sites. It’s pleasant enough, but if anyone wants to return to the apartment for a rest during the day, it does take some planning. There is public transportation as well, but it can also take some time. However, there are some very nice restaurants, bakeries, trattorias, etc. right around this apartment.
There are mounted a/c units in the bedrooms which helped a lot on the warm summer nights. Don’t expect 5-start hotel sheets and towels as those were more reminiscent of staying at my favorite grandmother’s house, but everything is clean and comfortable, and Sonia is the best!

The apartment was not in the busy touristy area. It was in a cool neighborhood with a little grocery and restaurants and was so quiet. But our host, Sonia, made the experience perfect! She was so quick to respond to all my questions before we came and when we would get lost in the city. She took such good care of us. She felt like family. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!!

We could not have been happier with our stay at this fantastic apartment. Sonia’s communication prior to and during our stay was excellent. She met us on arrival and spent time telling us about the area, places to visit, shop and eat. Whenever we had a question or needed a taxi she would help immediately. The apartment is spacious and has everything you could possibly need. The rooms were quiet and the outdoor area is really lovely.

This was the perfect little home away from home for us. The bedrooms are large, there are two bathrooms, a living room with a sleeper sofa, and a kitchen with everything you need. The garden is perfect for eating alfresco. This is located in the Oltarno, so it is a 15 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio or the Pitti Palace. There is a great park for kids and a grocery store across the street that was very convenient. There are many local restaurants and even a lovely gelateria right next to the park. The owner Sonia is super helpful and left us wine and a lovely cake on our first day. I highly recommend staying here!
